Okay, so I have 4 saves I want to make my "main 4" saves. Everything else I will probably just make default ME2 Shepards to play as, but these 4 I have done from ME1 and will continue into ME3.
My first is my Spacer, Sole Survivor. I did Liara's romance, and every side quest in the game (except forgot to give Tali the geth data:crying:). But otherwise, I did every side quest, and everything with the main quests. Kaiden lived.
My second I am working on right now in ME1. I am going to do only the side quests that are imported into ME2, and leave the rest. This will be my Ashley romance character. Obviously Ashley will survive Virmire. Also will do everything with the main quests.
My third is the one I have a question about. It is a file that I made specifically with the ME2 Tali romance in mind, so I did not do any ME1 romances. I have already finished this game. However, I did not do Bring Down the Sky, the Asari consort mission, UNC Hostages or UNC Hostile Takeover. Also, Ethan Jeong died on Feros, as opposed to my other files where he lived. Will these things really be a detriment?
My fourth will be a FemShep, currently in progress in ME1.
So yeah, if you could answer the question I had for my third file, I would appreciate it!

You only miss some news announcements and Miss Blake isn't on Omega, so I guess it only matters if you'll miss them.
Also, there is a sticky at the top of the forum that has a list of all known ME1 import carryovers.
