Ok so everyone is complaining on these fourms about stuff being left out in awakening:
no romances
no dlc equipment
losing party members
People if bioware left out these things there must be a reason. First, romances and sex, are you serious people you are complaining about not getting to have sex on the expansion you must have a problem if you need sex in a videogame. Second, if theres no holding on to dlc items we must be getting new equipment thats better. Finally party members, we are keeping an old favorite and IT HAS NOT BEEN DECLARED AS OGRHEN SO BE QUIET. Also we are getting 6 or 7 total why are you complaining you get new ones and life goes on :). So stop whining about these features and just prove you're good at the game by overcoming the setbacks.

People aren't complaining about the sex, they want the emotional side of it, not the sex. And maybe you should stop complaining about other people complaining.

Ummm it says right at the FAQ at the top of the page the old favorite is Ogrhen.

Also, sex is not romance. If I have to explain to you the difference you're out of luck.

Yes, ask people to stop complaining by making a new thread about it, thus provoking them to complain here.

It's Oghren :P. The other two points you made are more of an annoyance than anything, and people have a right to be annoyed with that and have their opinions if they want. It's the nerdrage that's stupid. And as Cutlass Jack said: the point about the romances wasn't the sex. It is the romance itself and the process.

Was this really necessary? There are like 50 other threads devoted to this crap, and you're not even saying anything original. You're just as bad, if not worse than, the people making the complaint threads. At least those have stopped multiplying. You fail. Next time, search function. For now, let's spam this thread into LOCKDOWN.

At least the people complaining give feedback. It can be used by the devs. And those people talk about soemthing they care about.

This thread? Pointless.

There's this little wheel in between the right and left buttons of your mouse. It allows you to scroll. Most useful.

That said, why is it that the people who don't care about the romance option always assume that those that do need to get laid? I'm female. I can do that whenever I feel like it. Most of the fairer sex can. We hold all the cards there. It isn't about sexual frustration...it is about the interpersonal interaction. The actual sex was kind of cheesy, but getting there? That was most amusing.

I think the most justified thing to complain about has to be the way the "Ultimate Sacrifice" ending is being treated. People can come up with more rational complaints about it, and I find it frustrating as well. Overall though, people are not complaining nearly as badly as you describe it, (you have some bad info as well) it's more or less civil discussion accompanied by the occasional frustration.

Oh hey wow, ANOTHER post saying exactly what 10,000 other people have said in a hundred other posts. Thank goodness for you, OP! Otherwise, we'd totally never know that some players think we have no right to express disappointment about romances, DCL, and lost party members. Bonus points for stating a point of ignorance in all caps, too!

This is what I don't understand. You claim it's not about the sex - which for most people is correct. Yet, you go on to say it's about the interpersonal interaction, and the relationships that you develop with the characters. That isn't exclusive to romance (which you probably know). Bioware is fully capable of writing a close relationship up with a character without using any intimacy. You can tell me your relationship with Alistair or Zevran was the most meaningful out of all your companions, which would be both subjectively and objectively true - since relationships  build up over a longer span than a friendship making it far more resource heavy to produce. But then, when you consider this, you also wonder if such a buildup would be fitting for an expansion of questionable length. That, combined with our lack of knowledge on just what those characters really are, their role in the story, and the core disposition they display towards the Warden makes the choice of barring any romance especially appropriate (at this time). Is it disappointing that there aren't any in the expansion? Maybe, but again, this is subjective - as you said.

Is it understandable? Yes, they give a logical explanation, even if it's vague or loose to you.
Those that speak for romances are out of luck and out of Bioware's minds. There isn't any point in wishing or wanting when it simply won't be.

When the expansion is released and people have the time to play it, understand the story, and comment is the appropriate time to discuss why there should've been romances included in the game. As for right now, no one knows enough to give an irrefutable reason as to why.

Close, everyone has to play on Wii as all the other platforms are closed down as Nintendo buys them all.

Wii always makes me think of that woman who died trying to win a Wii, while taking part in a "Hold your wee to win a Wii" contest.

Agreed. Funny thing, but companies usually like some form of feedback as to why customers are closing their wallets. As luck would have it, that feedback for video game companies tends to occur in their forums. If you're not working for the company, feel free to ignore the complaint threads!

That is not my complaint. I just want my HNF Cousland's end game decisions to follow through as depicted in Origins, that's all I want. If I married Aiistair, I want that to be in Awakening because it it plot relevant to my PC.
