Hello, i recently ran into problems with the VS2005 runtime installer that was included with ME1 and now both games suffers from stuttering lag and audio Hicups (It's worse in ME2 since i can't even get past the menu). Even though i run VS2008 it seems like with or without 2005 i am not able to run ME1 and the funny i think ME2 installed VS2005 with it.
Any ideas on how to solve this? I really want to play ME1 :C

What are your system specs? Which version of ME1&2 do you own? DVD or digital? If digital, Steam version?

v1.02 i think, i really know where to cheak.

2,00 GB RAM.
Also, ME2 is now running fine again, whilest the Lag in ME1 Remains.

If you have the Steam version, try to disable the Steam Overlay in the Steam Settings. It can sap the performance heavily. Deactivating the overlay normally results in a massive performance boost.
