I tried using the search but the only result it ever returns is a yellow bar below the selection options.

So, to reiterate the question in the subject:

Is it possible to patch the game to eliminate the disc swapping for XBOX360 owners that have installed both discs to their hard drives?

If it isn't possible to remove this, what is the reason?  Is it part of the 360's anti-piracy checks requiring the original disc to be present?

Since the game can actually be launched directly from disc 2, is it too deeply embedded in the game's code to easily change?  Does it actually call a different executable once you move to disc 2 that necessitates the swap for DRM/validation reasons?

Just looking for a decent answer to this question, and possible insight into why I have to pop the discs in & out all the time due to different careers, going back to previous N7 missions after the final fight, etc.  It does get a little old after a while, to be honest...

Thanks for the hard work on the great game & looking forward to any information on this topic from BioWare.

It's a microsoft requirement, and no there's nothing to be done about that.Sorry. We tried to get the fewest disc swaps possible. I'm glad you like the game. It's always nice to hear people appreciate it.:)
