Kind of annoying but i can live with it for the moment. It may be a hardware thing rather than a software one but if anyone knows a fix i'd be grateful.
Basically after a few minutes playing my graphics start artifacting (when the models look like they've exploded and theres loads of lines shooting out from them). If i change my anti-aliasing settings it will fix but only for a few more minutes then it gets fubar'd again.

At the moment im stopping play every few minutes and switching AA between off and x2 to keep the game looking .. well.. normal.

Ive updated my video drivers but that didnt make a difference.

OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.20GHz
RAM: 1024MB
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS

Do a web-wide search with Google, Yahoo, or (Yechh) Bing, for those symptoms.  I remember reading of a lot of Geforce video card owners seeing that in Oblivion.  What I don't remember is whether updating drivers fixed it.

Sadly I havent found anything useful on this. Does anyone more experienced than I know if this is a hardware or software thing for definite?

The other strange thing is it didnt start artifacting until after my origin story. The graphics were fine until ostagar. But now its getting messy more and more often. Its not a complete hardware fail though... its only doing it within Dragon Age, not anything else.

What your describing is usually caused by memory errors on the video card which is usually because the video card is getting too hot and then causing errors OR because it is running with overclocked settings and that is causing errors.
