The days when people tried to make good games is long gone. It's easier to produce a game entirely geared around profiteering than to make a good one. Instead of pushing boundries, limitations are accepted if adhering to said limitation, even at a game's detriment, results in higher net profit.The Angry One wrote...
This is basically the dark age for PC gaming, few games are PC centric these days. Most are built around the limitations of consoles.
Perhaps things will change someday.
