Since I joined up with the forum probably about three months ago I've tried various things to get pictures of my characters to upload to my profile, none of which seem to work.

I've logged in, saved, exited, restarted, logged in again, saved again, waited days for an upload or anything to happen, and found in the FAQ some ports to open for Dragon Age.

Is there anyone else who seemed like nothing was working and then the pics just appeared?  Notice my avatar is still missing an image.

Any tips at all?  Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Sorry I forgot this before, I play on PS3.

Another edit: finally saved my first edit.  I can't get it together today lol

It's wierd. All your character data uploads fine. The xml files are all there.

It's only the images that don't seem to reach the site...

I don't know if the images are just too "heavy" for your connection. Though that sounds silly.

My PS3 profile uploaded once. I got one character in. It never did it again... so no trophies, no characters, no nothing. And I'm logged into the EA server no problems.

May be a PS3 thing then.
Though Bioware Social is one big bug.
For example Fexelea shows up as not having a game registered, but is using an ingame avatar which requires a game to be registered, right?

Nope. Don't need Registration to use an Avatar. You can make Characters without Registration via the Standalone Character Creator.

I tried taking a look-see in your Profile, & examined one of your Characters, Tialan. I examined the Page Info, & found this:

I noticed in it's Attributes, it's 'Size' category is listed as "Unknown (not cached)"

I wonder if this is a clue to this malady?

Edit: I've examined a few 'Showing' & 'Not Showing'  Portraits, & all working ones list how big a File Size it is, & the ones that aren't working list the same anomoly: "Size: Unknown (not cached)"

I don't have enough Internet Force Powers to understand what this may mean, but it's gotta mean something.

I have the same problem, and I've changed my party, armor and weapon. None of my character's pictures upload...

Ah, thanks all for the replies and to Snoteye for the supercrazy FAQ... looks like I'm screwed on getting my precious Tialan and Siobhan to update their pics. Perhaps I can make a ringer and use that portrait instead...

I play on the PC but I think my problem was the same as yours..... My avatar picks were not showing up on BSN..... Go to your profile and delete all the characters with the corrupted avatars make sure they are totally deleted on the page and in diagnostics. Then enter the game and play each character abit. Save your game each time and exit to the main menu. Go to the download section and select switch characters button...... All this time be certain it says you are logged in at the bottom of the screen. Exit out of the game and wait a while for the server to update your data......You should see your character avatars appear properly once your data is updated on BSN.
