All I hear is that someone from a random encounter can teach you it.
But when can this random encounter occurr? I keep fighting waves of wolves and nothing yet.
When is the soonest in the storyline I can expect to do this? Im already lvl 9 and a half.

if you get zevhren with a high disposition he should be able to learn you if i remember correctly

My question though is when do you get Zevran? When can I expect to bump into him?

Im doing side stuff now hoping to trigger this event but if Im not far along enough yet, im just killing the clock.

Well you have to be at least level 7

Hmmm how about Arcane Warrior, I been waiting for that since level 7 and am now level 9. Haven't found anyone with that spec, don't wanna be blood mage, I'm pretty much a damager and my mana is gone in 3 secs with firing off enough spells for the apocalypse so I don't need spirit healer (not that Wynne will teach me that either even though her disp is well high) thinking of taking shapechange even though I don't really need it just for the stat boost.

I just became an Arcane Warrior. I'll warn you, if you dex is low, you'll struggle to hit anything until you raise it.



You unlock it by talking to presence that's in a gem on the ground in the Brecilian Ruins. It's in a room on the lower level, I believe -- there is a stone alter in the same room. It took me a while to find but these directions should lead you right to it.

so i just got Zevran to my party, would he still teach that assassin spec to me..?

Just get his approval high enough, or buy the manual in Alarith's Store after the Landsmeet (since you can kill Zevran).

Zevran attacks you in a random encounter after you've completed your first alliance (Redcliffe, Orzammar, Mage Circle, or Forest ) you then have to talk him into training you.
