4) Wrex - The awesome krogan must live another day!
5) Liara - Because for some reason I sympathise, even though she's kind of an airhead! Plus I want to see a catfight between her and Tali. I... may have been unfaithful.
Thane would've been there, but since he'd probably keel over the moment I threw everyone else into [insert fatal occurance here], I decided he wasn't worth it.
Aside from that, I generally liked all the characters, though sometimes the arbitrary human squadmates (especially Ashley and Kaidan) wear on my nerves - through no fault of their respective voice actors, of course.

I'd really like Legio nto and might replace one of the others for him. if including ME1 then I want Ashley and Wrex

Assuming Wrex remains a prominent NPC, it would be immoral to save Mordin due to his age, and Legion could simply transfer to a new platform, then:
