If you didnt have such a fail console then it mightve been out earlier, whats this im hearing about all the online breaking too? You have to pay for quality, ergo xbox live.
hahaha...ohhh don't make me laugh. Sorry I thought this guy just said the Xbox was a better quality system. Hmm well I'm sorry the PS3 can't have as great of a fail rate then the 360. I mean I know people are cheap and figure "hey, the 360 is great I might get 6 months out of it before I have to send it in for repairs or it eats a disk but you know what those two Franklins I'm going to spend on it WILL be worth it. Not to mention the $50 to play online or to download content I mean hey why not?"
ugh I'm not getting into a debate over this...rawr I hate trolls!

Trolls would be more fun if, once they were called out on being a troll, they would say: "Okay, but before I allow the thread to proceed, you must answer my questions three!"
That would be entertaining.
And when you answer correctly they do a funny walk back under their bridge and let us pass.

SO I am going to be getting RTO because I am not mad at the delay but very happy with it because sure it took them a while to fix it on a platform they are not completely familiar with and now it will be much better off than if they said screw it and pushed the realese. Anyone who says that my statement about coding is not true is wrong.
They have been realeasing PC games long before the PS3 and 360. But most of their Pc games use a microsoft OS coding system same as the 360 which has been out longer than PS3 to begin with. And yes the 360 does use a very similar coding to the microsoft. It is true and with a little bit of research and tech savvy glaringly obvious. So it is completely understandable and reasonable for them to need to put in a lot of extra man hours to re write out as many bgs as they can in order to realease a good product.
So to end there is no reason to be mad at Bioware. If they were only after the money they would have pushed it through day 1 and we would have been scratching our heads and saying, "really wtf is this broken **** that I just payed 5 bucks for?" instead they re did it and delayed it even though it would undoubtedly end with a loss of revenue from their PS3 fanbase. Now I agree a little bit more communication would have been great.

I'm not mad at the delay, I just think it should either be reduced in price or given for free at this point. 2 months of delay on a DLC that was said to add around an HOUR of gameplay and we still have to pay full price? Again I'm not mad, I just don't think we should have to pay the full price(even though its only $5).
This I can agree with and at the same time I don't. I mean yeah, even after all this time, it's our choice to buy it or not. So in that light, we shouldn't get a discount. But on the other hand, we were given a date, and not only did it not come out then, but it came out two months later. And you guys know as well as I do... Even in the "no spoiler" areas.... some spoilers slip through. Just about everything in RtO has been flooded and, doubled up with the delays, not as appealing anymore.
I think it'd be cool if they knocked a dollar or two off for say, the first 48hrs or a week since that's when the PSN updates. But I'm not the type of person to demand stuff like that from other people's hard work. So I'm on the fence about that one. But I will say this, I won't be buying it. Like someone else said, Heavy Rain is out. That game is SICK. Got Final Fantasy 13 coming out next week. I need to finish replaying God of War 1 and 2 on my collection disc so I can play 3 when it comes out. Then Awakenings is coming out? Yeah, I've worn Dragon Age out. I had one mage that was waiting until RtO comes out before I finished the game, but I tried getting back into the game's slow pace (compared to what I've been playing) and I couldn't even leave it in long enough to load a saved game.
I'm not saying this as a "rawr rawr rawr give me free stuffs!!" argument. It's more of feedback since that's what these forums are for, and in my opinion, despite how they trying to make it seem otherwise, the timing on this is all wrong. It's too little too late.

What am i paying $5 for here? seriously >__> like i've said warden's keep has lasting value for it's $7 and the abilities from it carry over to awakening but RTO has NOTHING to offer for the new expansion coming out 5 bloody days later, the most i'd get out of it was the little story it has and that's solved by a little known invention called "youtube".
There's not much reason to be pissed anymore, once we got a release date it put people at ease, this now is an issue of "why waste $5 on sumth'n useless in 5 days?" i'd rather spnd that $5 on some other DLC that i can get more use out of.

To everyone whom is complaining that Bioware is so terrible and such for realeasing RTO so late should really take into account that the coding for the PS3 system is extensive and very hard to work worth even for a company who has had somewhat limited expierence with the system programming. They were realeased quicker for 360 and PC because Bioware is very familiar with the coding process for both as the coding is pretty similar for both. What probably happened and is most likely is that they sent it in after coding it got it approved but before it hit PSN they had become aware of the problems it posed to the 360 and pc thier native platforms and had to recall the PS3 release and spend countless hours recoding it to get rid of the bugs in it.

The post initially quoted above is far more informative — and accurate, by the way — than the subsequent quoted post. But, then again, who cares about facts in this day and age, right? Blowhards and opinionators rule, while everyone else drools.

Kail guess you didn't get the note, RtO items are now importing into Awakenings.
lol no, no i did not, damnit -__-
Touche' Bioware, Touche'......guess they realized how useless rto was without the dlc too if they isolated it from the other dlc, least leaves a lil vindication lol
I shall at least consider buying it now then, but with awakening 5 days later i have to wonder which is better for my attention full expansion or hour long DLC Hmmmz
