True, it is late. VERY late as a matter of fact, but now we know when it is coming. Better than being left in the dark. Bioware could have said "screw it" and not release it at all, but they didn't. That shows they care a little for us. Or our wallets. Or both.

Why is it exactly that it takes longer for things on the PS3? Anyone know? This is the reason I bought the game for my PC as well.

I'm still curious about the update they mentioned, too. If they correct the stupid bugs in the PS3 version I would much rather play DA on it than my PC. I have already bought Awakening for my computer, but if their "update" fixes those bugs, I think I would change it to PS3.

Wondering if the update on the 4th will be the same update that borked the 360 version and created this whole fiasco in the first place. Wouldn't that be just ironic. At any rate I'm glad the PS3 DA players at least know when its coming finally. Good on ya Fexy for being persistant about it. *hugs*

It's nice to finally have a solid release date for the PS3. Unfortunately it's after ff xiii, and I've been waiting for that a LOT longer, so RtO is going to have to join Awakening on my 'maybe next month' list.

Does this mean we can purchase DAO Awakening through PS3 Store and just download it instead of purchasing it from a retail or online store?
If so, I'll probably do that if Best Buy doesn't have it on the 16th.

When I first saw the date I was thinking - forget it, too close to Awakenings - but since they are releasing a patch a week earlier I will cut them some slack especially since Awakenings seems to be on schedule.

Thanks BioWare for the update, but with so many Main stream titles coming out just before or a few days after this and awaking do you think your DLC and game will stick out or will it get crushed under the Wave of the games coming.

RTO won't necessarily be a waste. we can bring over our characters from Origins with all the gear to Awakening. More goodies to play with...lol

So will we ever get to know what happened that it took this long? It is good that we have a thread and a date, but wow, March 11th? Not trying to be difficult, but that really does give one pause if it is worth it to buy RTO to enjoy for all of five days before Awakenings is released. I guess that's assuming Awakenings is released on time for PS3. I supose I have plenty of time to think it over.

On the bright side, what fixes does the patch include? Any info there?
