Soooooo I beat it in like an hr? lol Only once through. Played though with Loghain first. Kinda sad it was only one quest. And I would have been seriously PO'd if I wasn't able to take the armor and weapons to Awakenings. It seemed like Calins armor/sword and Duncans daggar/sword were the only points to the quest...

beat it in 40 something minutes without skipping any dialogue. Quite easy when I played it on my super buffed AW.
I agree, and the only things I really wanted were those cool weapons. I am a crazy collector, every piece of unique equipment I keep as a memento

Overall, I say it was worth the money and time, but that is because I am a perfectionist when it comes to DLC. It's either all of the DLC or don't play the game at all for me

Did they change it to where you can take DLC armor/weapons to Awakenings??

Good, at least I won't load into the expansion naked then.

I'm glad I had to go to work today lol. When I came home the dlc for RTO was up. Didn't take long to dl and I was able to play it right away. Granted I won't use the armor...will maybe use Duncan's Sword...but I think I prefer the Keening Blade as my second weapon for my dual weild warrior elf.

Nice ending to it. Was also nice to see Alistair get the killing blow animation on the ogre, Duncan would be proud

I got about an hour. Did all the dialogue and checked every cranny. I'm sorta disappointed I had to wait so long for an hours worth of play. It would have been cool if there had been more added dialogue between characters at least.

I assume King Calien's armour can be upgraded? Because I'm level 20 and I got tier 3 (Red Steel) wtf that's inferior to just about every piece of equipment I got. Anyway it was a nice hour or so I guess now back to FFXIII until Awakening drops.

It is upgradable, and the weapons too...
Did someone got there with Loghain? How is it?

This is probably the DA equivalent to the dream where you go to school/work and you don't have any pants.

Only 1 trophy can be acquired in Return to Ostagar. It is called : In War, Victory.

Loghain basically defends himself from Wynne's remarks, and finds out Calian's doing it with Celene. Which is funny.Felipevelloso wrote...

Downloaded mine this mornign but won't get a chance to play it right way! Doing my second run so I won't go there with my human noble until I've done a few other things first. Good to know that the armour can be leveled up so that is good for going over to Awakening. Look forward to playing it.

Earlier in the thread i said that DLC-loot will be gone in Awakening. A lot replied that this does not include loot from Return to Ostagar. Where have you read that?? In the official FAQ Bioware answers this:
2.5 – Will my items, armor, stats, etc transfer over if I import my character from Dragon Age: Origins?
Almost all items are imported with your character. The only exceptions are the Origins promotional items and DLC loot, which were meant for Origins alone.

I really hope you are right and I wrong, but it doesn't look that way when you read this..?
