Will this patch fix dexterity for daggers/bows so I can play a rogue without feeling "gimped" by comparison?

AFAIK bows are recieving 0.3 damage for 1 point in dexterity/strength and daggers 0 damage for dexterity, the attack score for bows is not the 1:1 as listed as well, 3 points in dex gives 2 attack. :S

Too little too late guys. Thanks for nothing, if this had come out 2 or 3 months ago when promised (HOLIDAYS 2009!) I was 100% going to buy it.

Your ridiculous delay and incompetent public relations with updates and news mean I'm not interested anymore.

I'll check out Awakenings if it has good reviews.

Why, Why, iv waited for sooo long and i was about to give up when they didn't post anything for awhile and now they say its going to come out on march 11. man i waited for soo long its like forever, but i cant wait any longer. I have beaten the game 7 times now and i was the hman noble and i became king and marry the queen. and i might use that to transer over to the next part. But i also save a file right before im going to do the landsmeet because i want to know what happen when u go to ostagar frist before the landsmeet. It might be interesting.Posted Image

I'm just saying that I probably won't buy RTO on the PS3 until the things you are awarded in RTO are supported by Awakening. I understand why they are releasing it, it's a good addition to Origins, (I have it on PC) but as of now they have said that the stuff you get will not carry over to Awakening when you import your pc.

so you're holding out because you can't bring stuff that will be useless in awakening due to the higher level items you'll be getting?

I am just glad even though it is way late and days from the expansion that Sony finally picked up the ball they dropped and let it go through. (oops not bashing anyone just ranting a bit). I play PC and PS3 versions so I will have my 6th play through finished hopefully long before it finally comes out (and hopefully the bugs are fixed like they were supposed to be in the previous patch on PS3.. Bugs like no loot in window,NPC with Quest Icon up after you have already completed their quest,Shale vanishing at the end of the game before post coronation where you can talk to all your companions minus Morrigan since she leaves anyway in the dialogue choices, and a few other annoying game stopping bugs.) Probably needed to post that last part in tech support section for PS3, but just pointing out what I hope is fixed with the releases of the patch the 4th, RTO the 11th, and DAA the 16. Thanks for a great game anyhow. ranting is over for me back to finishing last play through have a great day all..Posted Image

100% agree. I certainly won't be shelling out any cash for this piece, less money to the corporate hacks who devised this sham.

Good to see they finally got this worked out, not sure if I'll buy it or not, but I might pick it up still. My mind is firmly on Awakenings at this point (that God of War 3, & Yakuza 3 lol).

I do find it humorous that so many people are talking about how they don't care because of FFXIII though. I've been playing the english version for the past few days (Yes, there are early copies floating around out there if you know where to look), and it's only barely an RPG. I'm at the halfway point & all I've basically done so far is run forward > battle some > watch cutscene > rinse & repeat. It feels like they took an action games formula & tried to apply to a game with turn based RPG combat.... It works well enough I suppose & the story is decent so far, but It seems like alot of people are expecting something else. FF11 is more of a Final Fantasy game than 13 IMO lol.

But anyway, back on topic... It's good to see Bioware/EA getting this stuff worked out (late as it may be). Hopefully this dosen't happen again in the future.

Yay. I never really minded the delay all I wanted to know was WHEN it would be released. Now I know and I'm happy.

Just like Awakening I won't be buying this either. I love DAO but Bioware is nothing but scamers. They don't care one bit about us. Just a search for the all mighty dollar.

Include everything in the import, either bringing the party chest or making a new one for us and don't forget about our DLC equipment. Then I'll buy.

Or hey how about not putting all of the best EQ in the DLC.

Ok, this is an RPG and the story is awsome. Having said that, the stuff you are awarded in RTO has a lot of sentimental value. Would you really just "misplace" Cailen's armor? Or Duncan's swords? This just goes back to my argument about the story not sounding as if it will flow well from Origins to Awakening.

Congrats PS3 users. On one hand, you know when RtO will be coming out for the PS3, on the other, you can enjoy all the free time you'll have now that you don't have to log on here an complain about not knowing when it will come out.

I have to agree with some people on here RTO needs to come out earlier to make it worth it. also I Might not buy Awaking as my Wallet will already be hurting from FFXIII and the two new Pokemon games. and seeing how nothing really ports over to awaking its kinda point less to have RTO so close to it. Sigh I don't know if it was You all or Sony but someone has made some bad business choices.

Here's the news that PS3 fans have been waiting for!

Return to Ostagar for the PlayStation 3 has passed certification and will be released on March 11, 2010.

We will also be releasing an update for the PlayStation 3 version of Dragon Age a week ahead of time on March 4, 2010. We'll release the contents of this update once we have the final list of changes.

We would also like to update you on the release date for Awakening. Dragon Age: Awakening will be released to retail in North America for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 16, as scheduled (with Europe/Other regions later that week as normal with retail releases). The PlayStation 3 DLC version of Awakening will be released on March 18.

We truly appreciate our PlayStation 3 fans' patience while they were awaiting this release. Thanks for playing Dragon Age: Origins, and we're looking forward to seeing you in Ostagar and Awakening!

unacceptable.  there's no reason why it couldn't be released this week.

if you people at bioware truly appreciated our patience, you would be releasing some extra free content for the inconvenience of having to wait alomst 6 weeks after it was released on the other platforms.

I see no point in waiting for another couple of weeks if its already done with certification. I am tired of waiting. Im just going to pass on RTO. But I am very excited about the update.Hopefully it will fix the some anoying glitches.

Perhaps the reduction in sales as a result of how this was handled will better inform BioWare treatment of it's PS3 Users in the future.

I moved from excited when it was first announced, to angry, to now virtually indifferent; all due to their treatment of the delay. It would have been nice if they had kept us more informed and perhaps I would have remained excited. Hopefully they will in the future.

My fear is that they will blame RTO's lackluster sales (if that is indeed what happens) on the PS3 community and not  where it rightfully belongs (as I see it) with themselves.
