Congrats PS3 users. On one hand, you know when RtO will be coming out for the PS3, on the other, you can enjoy all the free time you'll have now that you don't have to log on here an complain about not knowing when it will come out.
Yes, because Pc and 360 users didnt do that.......
I posted asking about a release date, or demanding it come out exactly 0 times. Nothing is going to come out faster because people complain constantly, and repeatedly form conspiracy theories on a message board.
I will grant anyone this, a hundred times over: it sucks that it got delayed.
No one wants to wait longer for something that is highly anticipated. However, the more you sit and hype things up in your mind, and focus on this one game / dlc, the more you guarantee that no matter how great it is, you're going to be disappointed.
By this point, though, people have either made up their minds to make this as negative a situation as humanly possible, or to accept the reality of the situation and move on.

here's what you don't understand:
if both versions were sent for certification at the same time and both passed with (assumably) no problems, there's zero reason for there to be a 6 week discrepancy in the release of the two versions (well... three if you count PC, which i don't).
i doubt very much that the xbots would be very happy if the situation had been reversed.

I am pleased, tickled pink really that bioware has finally responded somehow to the PS3 users. But I am feeling that it is a case of too little, too late.

Now I know there are going to be "hardcore" ranters out there that are already boycotting this and are probably going to say "Good I'm glad it was a waste of Bioware's time, I hate them." Why though? Because they had a bug with a 30 - 45 DLC? For a game that was I think named best RPG of 2009. Name one gaming company that hasn't had a bug in their game? I'm going to school to be a Game Designer as a matter of fact and I know that no company can make a perfect game without bugs or problems. Infact any gamer should know that, you don't have to be a Game Developer to figure that out.
The thing I love about Bioware is they don't release info until their sure about it. (Before anyone says but they said RtO was coming out Jan. 5 so they lied your point is void, there was a bug in the game it happens like I said name a company that has a track record like Bioware that has never had bug in any of their games, I bet you can't.) Could the problem been avoided? Maybe, but there's no way to tell.
I'm just glad it's finally ready and by the time I get RtO done, and finish my play through that I'm taking on to Awakening, Awakening will be ready to go. Glad to hear Bioware did what they had to do. It's better then them just pushing it out the door and saying "Hey we made the DLC like we said we were going to but no where did we say it would be bug free so if you can't level up properly in it, or get certain events to work thats your problem, thanks for the $5." They at least called it back and fixed it. Give them that at least.

That might take a couple of weeks for BioWare to get the certification to tell people what the patch will be fixing.mhendon wrote...
Might we know why in holy hell you are waiting 2 more weeks to release it after cert when Xbox got it right afterwards. Any details about what the patch will be fixing would also be nice. (Hopefully Alistair will stop insisting he is king...thats really annoying.) Thanks

This glitch right here is why I chose to play this game on the PC, someone made an unofficial fix for this annoying bug. I too am hoping they fix that so I can go back to playing on my PS3.

Firstly, the RTO delay is all due to Sony being complete jerks about the ceritfication system, Bioware wad no controle over when sony would release it.
so i say sony fails here and not bioware.
You can say that it is a Sony fail, but there is no backing for that option. We know that the PS3 version was fixed and delivered LAST of the 3 versions. We are made to understand that it took over 3 weeks for Sony to certify. However given that release dates are made by EA, from yesterday until March 11th, there is no fault to be placed in Sony for the extra 3 weeks of waiting.
