@ Kahlmulandr RTO isn't the worst of it. A lot of us won't even be able to play Awakening when it comes out because it won't even be on disc. Sony's mostly to blame, but Bioware should have put it on disc instead of making it DLC - then everybody could enjoy it.
did you miss the part where they said it was coming out on disc march 16th for all platforms and available to download on the PSN march 18th for the PS3?

Take it for what you will. I promise you, however, that making threats, issuing prayers, being relentless in your complaining will do absolutely no good at all. You're better off playing a different game, reading a book, going outside and enjoying the fresh air, watching tv, or attempting to discover the secret to cold fusion.
I promise you that despite all your sermonizing, we will go on complaining, screaming, kicking, and crying nonetheless.
You can go outside and read a book.

Did you miss the part where they said Europe is download only? SCEE policy; Expansion packs can only be sold on disc OR via download, never both. EA gave SCEE a choice and for some reason they chose download only.

"Dragon Age: Awakening will be released to retail in North America for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on March 16, as scheduled (with Europe/Other regions later that week as normal with retail releases). The PlayStation 3 DLC version of Awakening will be released on March 18."
yeah i guess i must have missed that since they said europe would be getting normal retail releases.

You're right! Good advice is worthless; pissing into the wind is the way to go. Enjoy! I'm sure you'll complain to me when you're soaked with urine as well, for all the good it will do you.
Those of you who have an open ear for reason will move on, those of you who don't will sit here and argue the answers to questions you'll never know, and cry until no one pays you any more mind.
Happy trails, folks.

Judge,
I don't hate to point out the irony of the fact that you've bemoaned people complaining in all of your recent posts thus ensuring each and every one of your posts is itself a complaint. As narrow a focus as you accuse others of having yours is no wider. You repeatedly express your opinion that the behavior of those posters who complain is a futile effort and yet fail to realize the futility of your actions.
It seems odd to me that you continue to frequent these threads when you feel there is nothing else to be gleaned from them. Is it just to troll under the pretense of helping others to see the error in their ways or do you have some other more noble goal that eludes obvious detection?
What I see is only the hypocrisy as each and every action you claim to despise in others you are guilty of yourself and willfully so. Insulting people generally puts them on the defensive. Perhaps you will react with agression in response to me. If so, does it not only further elobarate why your words will not disuade anyone, but only irritate them?

Am I going to keep every person from complaining? No. Have I said a single time that no one is allowed to complain? No. Have I "frequented" multiple threads describing this concept? No. Am I, myself, complaining? No. Am I assuming a person with narrow focus will understand? No. But, just as you are free to frequent these threads and preach futile action, I am no less justified in illuminating it.
As to whether what I say has any effect, it's up to the individual to decide whether they come to this forum and yell until they're red in the face, or find a more constructive use of their time. But, just as there are people attempting to incite others thinking it will do anything regarding the communication and processes taken by two outside parties, there are those who realize the futility in such actions. What I'm saying, though it apparently has eluded your sense of "obvious detection", is that the latter is more appealing than the former.
In the same way that you condemn me for talking to people the way that I do, examine your own words, and reconsider the definition of hypocrisy.

I just know from now on not to buy any Bioware games. I gave away my copy of Dragon Age. I just want to say Thanx to all the worthless POS's at Bioware.
Ouch! You're living up to your handle, Firehead! **LOL**
Let me guess: You gave away your copy of DAO right before the announcement of not only a PS3 release date for RtO, but a patch for DAO as well, along with a date for Awakenings?

Awakenings: digital download only in PAL territories. Disappointing.
PS3 patch: like months overdue.
PS3 support forum: continues to be ignored by Bioware.
Thanks, but no thanks!

Awakenings is the first official expansion and it's hitting all three platforms (if you can call PC a platform) on the same day. If you have a major issue with the digital-only approach that Europe has on Awakening, then import the US version of the expansion from any number of sites (Gamestop, Amazon, etc.). No region coding. Problem solved.

Not sure why there's so much hate. I mean, a month delay from the PC/360 version (of a DLC of all things) and some of you are acting like children over it.

PS3 games although region free only the very ealry DLC was reagion free as well.
Anything from the past couple of years imported from the US won't work with a PAL game disc, only a US one.
SCEE quickly closed that bolt hole when they found out many gamers where importing DLC etc from the US.
Games they can't do to much about but DLC they can.
We are stuck with download only or import both the game and awekenings from the US.
