What's a good mix of armor for extra backstab dmg?
Right now I have Warden Commander's Breastplate, Red Jenny Seakers, and Rose's Thron. That gives me +60% crit/backstab dmg. I'm also wearing Helm of Honnealth and have Warden Commander's Boots.
Is there anything else worth getting or can I even get higher then 60%?
I guess I could also use Duncan's dagger which is +15% I think. Is that better then using Starfang? Right now I have Starfang and Rose's Thorn. Do I really need to worry about the dmg difference between starfang and duncan's dagger if I switched it out?
Thanks for any help.

As a rogue? I wouldn't be wearing Warden's commander. I'd be wearing Felon's coat. Don't remember its stats....
I wouldn't have any massive armor on as a rogue. I'd wear stuff that upped my Dex and cunning.

It depends. My rogue has The Edge and Rose's Thorn. If you don't have access to the edge, I would go with the best dagger you could find. I favor two daggers because of the added armor penetration.
And lose the heavy armor. I run around in no more than light armor. The benefits of heavier armor are nice, but to me it is a waste of attribute points to get to the point where you can wear heavier armors and also a supreme waste of stamina.

Ok. here's the stats: +6 Dexterity
+9 Defense
+4 Armor
+2 Combat Stamina Regeneration
+15% Physical Resistance
edit: This is for Felon's Coat. Light armor. Rogue only.

Pushback Strikers are my favorite gloves: +5% chance to Crit.

If you have RtO, I think Cailan's armor set would be a nice option. With the complete set, you get -25% fatigue, 15% Critical/Backstab damage, 10 mental resistance, 15 physical resistance, 4 armor, 20% chance to dodge attacks, and 5 health regeneration in combat. Plus, it can be looted as tier 5 which can spare you a few points in strength. Plus it is free if you are low on cash.

Where do you get Felon's Coat?
I have Calin's set, but I got it too late and the strength requirement is out of my reach. Warden Commander's isn't too bad. You get +50 stamina boost and +15% crit/backstab dmg. For a rogue that seems pretty good. Fatigue isn't too bad, but I'm not finding any other armor setups that give me the additional backstab dmg.
Another question:
Do the backstab bonuses on the weapons only apply to that weapon or is it a combined total?

I can't remember the name of the gloves, but there are +15% crit/backstab gloves out there somewhere.

He has them--Red Jenny's Seekers. Felon's Coat is sold by Wade after two treaties/major plot points.

Felon's coat is purchased in Orz near entrance to dust town.
The smith in Denerim (Wade's apprentice actually) also offers a nice set of Rogue armor (which i prefer over Felon's Coat), but it doen't seem to be available until level 10 or 11, and not available at all after the DrakeScale / DragonScale quest is finished.
I think there are Assassin Talents that bump your crits, as well as general Rogue talents... i think i had one rogue up where you are, but i relied more on general back stabbing and less on "sneaking"

Wade is locked out. I already did the drakscales.
I'm not using sneak at all. I just move to the flanks or the side and start backstabbing or use riposte. It's working out really nice because the dog stuns everyone at the start and I just got to town with the backstabbing.
Also I have Coupe De Grace so I've been using poisons to stun and I have grandmaster paralysis rune so I can backstab from the front.
I'll look for the felon's coat. Right now I think I'm getting mid 50s to low 60s on average when I backstab. I'll try some different weapon and gear combos to see if I can get it higher.

Wade sells Felon's Coat unfortunately; DargonBlak must be thinking of Shadow of the Empire which is sold by Legnar near the entrance of Dust Town. It has 2 strength, 2 dexterity, and 2 combat stamina regeneration. It is much cheaper than Felon's Coat but is inferior stat wise. Personally, I am not a big fan of either one just on looks (light blue and purple armor that looks like a bucket?), but Felon's is the best chestplate for rogues.

I quite liked the look of Felon's Coat personally. It looked surprisingly good on my City Elf.
Anyway, +crit/backstab does stack and it counts for whatever weapon you are using at the time not eack one seperately.
I would get rid of Starfang and go for an extra dagger of I were you, the added crit backstab damage will be worth it with good backstab talents and high cunning. Plus double daggers seem to be faster than main hand weapon and single dagger.
If you are a City Elf you can get Fang which is the second best dagger available after the Roses Thorn otherwise I liked Dead Thaig Shanker(if you have the stone prisoner) or beastmans dagger or Crow Dagger for backstab damage(you can get three rune slots for the Crow Dagger by selling it to Mikhail Dryden).
I play on PS3 so I can't tell you anything about Duncan's weapons.

Pretty much identical to Rose's Thorn, but with a few differences in bonuses. I think I'm gonna try out Duncan's and see how it works.
It also has 3 spots for runes.

Duncan's dagger is not that good imo as one of the bonuses is extra damage against dragons. It has a higher dexterity bonus compared to Rose's Thorn, but after that it is vastly inferior imo.
