Very likely. In "The Stolen Throne" (and hinted by the existance of a Dwarven area in Awakening), it's said that the Deep Roads extend under Ferelden, and I would expect them to have also gone west, so there'll also be Dwarves in OrlaisKnightofPhoenix wrote...
Question. Are there any Dwarven cities in Orlais? I thought there was only 2 cities remaining. So if the Orlesian Warden is a dwarf, where does he come from? Obviously he is a surfacer, But does he come from Orlais or from somewhere else?
Orlesian Warden - what race?

I'm pretty sure the Epilogue mentions its a way the remaining Darkspawn move around.
So, I'm guessing it would be possible you could be a Dwarf from Kal-Sharok?

Permission to be blunt : What the hell is a Kobayashi Maru? Is something we'll face, or something I should NOT really google it up? Because it sounds very oriental and I wouldn't like ending in a virus-trap...Ferret A Baudoin wrote...
Hmm... The Orlesian Nug background would be really quick to make. Make a little level where you run away from cleaver-wielding cooks. A total Kobayashi Maru - poor little nug is destined for the cook pot. It'd be a tear-jerker.

Its a reference from the Star Trek movies. Its basically an 'unwinnable' scenario they use to test how starfleet officers react under stress. Captain James T. Kirk is the only one to beat this test. He cheated.

Actually its very Captain Kirk. He doesn't play by the rules. When the rules suck, he changes them. Which was the real point of the Maru story when it was originally told. But the latest Trek film did add suck to the story by explaining how he did it and attributed it to a simple hacking of the program.

Two that we know of. The nature of the Deep Roads allows it to easily be written that there are Dwarven cities underground or that the Dwarves from Orlais moved to the surface due to Darkspawn.q0rra wrote...

The Dragon Age wiki states that: "Kal-Sharok is one of the two known Dwarven cities in Thedas", which in my eyes leaves it open to others.

I've always assumed that Kal-Sharok was under Orlais, but I'm most likely wrong. xD
It's in the hunterhorn mountains, which makes up the western border of Thedas. It's 'in' the Imperum.

You can be an Orlesian Warden of any race -- and if you're an elf or a dwarf it doesn't really assume anything about your origins other than that you came from Orlais. If you wish to be a Dalish Elf from Orlais (of which there are plenty -- the Dales is in Orlais, after all) and not a City Elf that's up to you.
Neat! ^__^ I assumed you'd only be able to be human!
And I like that if you're an elf, it doesn't assume you're a City elf. Yay for roleplaying a Dalish Orlesian Warden!

LOL!
Yes and there should be a in fight taunt if the enemy runs away saying "Come back here and take what's coming to you! I'll bite your legs off!"

AFrenchOrlesian Elven Mage will be fun
I do hope there is a mage option for the Orlesian Grey Warden. If there is a glitch in the game, and I cannot import my character for some reason; I don't want to be stuck without my relentless murder-spamming mage awesomeness. Lord knows I wouldn't survive without Cone of Cold/Petrify + Stone First.

I keep on getting images of Peter Sellars or some of the female characters in "'Allo 'Allo!" whenever I hear an Orleasian in the game.... ;-)
