Good lord, compete with the Tali thread? What's that take, a massive Mordinmancer army?

I mean, Mordin broke my heart when he said he didn't view me in that way, but then we cultured some bacteria together and designed an indoctrination-proof slug. Good scientific times.

came across this snippet on my current ME2 playthrough.

While I really like Mordin's character, I hope he doesn't return as a party member. (In my game I hope he'll be trying to cure the genophage.)

I feel like I need Mordin because of his upgrading of the normandy and weapons and armor research. I'd love it if HE was the last member of the league of one. that'd be fitting for his character.

Mordin has to come back in ME3! Xsauce is right, this thread is way too inactive!

Jane is right, Mordin deserves more love.

To contribute to this thread, here's a compilation of his combat lines.

nice thread. Mordin is awesome. Will be interseting to see how the Genophage side-story will be resolved in ME3.

Yeah personally I would love to see more about the Genophage story line as well in ME3. I mean, why make such a big fuzz about it in ME2 with destroying the data, keeping the data and then leave it out completely in ME3? There have to be at least SOME consequences from this decision. Especially if Wrex is still alive and boss of Urdnot!

Okay, to lend my support to the fabtabulous Mordin Solus:

Serious: For those who played Jade Empire, do you think Mordin is very similar to Kang the Mad? When I replayed JE a few weeks back, I realised they have so much in common in personality (except Kang the Mad is a god)

Mordin's definitely similar to Kang. And I like them both. Wacky scientists are awesome.

I just posted some video snippets in Clan V, but also captured Mordin a couple of times.

Mordin's adding insult to injury

dialogue between Garrus and Mordin on Purgatory

Mordin's comment when you talk to the tank bred Krogan

Mordin's comment about beating prisoners

Mordin's comment when talking to Avina

Mordin about having enough enemies

Wow. One of the best developed characters and he receives hardly any love....that's terrible.

I agree. Mordin is one of the best characters in ME. He was one of the most interesting characters to talk to and I hope he returns in ME3 as squad as I enjoyed taking him on missions and hearing the funny combat quotes. That, and I'm hoping to hear the full version of "Very Model of a Scientist Salarian" and not just an extract.

As I was drinking my coffe this morning trying to come up with something to ask people... it hit me. I should ask them about whether their favorite character drank tea or coffee in the morning. So what does Mordin drink in the morning... tea or coffee (or several espresso shots)? How does he take it and why?

New someone who'd get a venti cappuccino with something like six espresso shots, sugar, whipped cream and possibly cocaine. It was a very expensive cup of coffee.

Mordin would want to keep his mind sharp. No caffeine crashes.

Mordin is a doctor, so he understands the importance of staying hydrated, especially in old age. I bet he gets up and drinks water, like the rest of us ought to but don't!

Mordin is the only squadmate I've never skipped any dialogue on. Best developed character in the game.

Bring Garrus to his loyalty mission btw, he has a funny bit just as they enter the hospital. Can also bring Garrus to Mordin recruitment for more good extra lines.

I support Mordin Solus for ME3, he's a great character. Not interested in him as an LI though.
