I refuse to pick a favorite Mordin line. Everything he says is fantastic, from his humor to his seriousness. I can pick a favorite group, though - every time he ends a comment (usually sex-related) with that bit about "doctor-patient relationship" and how he would never dream of ... "mockery." It's the pause that gets me.
Yes! The pause is absolutely classic and brilliant.

My only problem with him is his skills. With the way he is portrayed in the game he should have had better abilities and weapon choices.

Mordin should've had an ability where he opens his mouth to talk, and the enemies just explode. Right there.

Mordin is so layered, it's wonderful. Hands-down my favorite character. And you're in luck, silt! I found the thread with the dev confirming his age as 30s.

LOL, the Mordin mind-bomb? It would be pretty nifty... Though I thought his incendiary thing was actually quite nice/powerful. I suppose it's less interesting if you're playing an infil. though (if I remember right they have that power themselves).
I have to agree, though, that overall the char's abilities seemed to have little to do with what they were supposedly capable of according to the story itself... but that might be due to the simplified skill sets. I mean Jack is supposed to be the uber biotic and her "entrance" is quite impressive, then it turns out my adept Shep. can do more stuff than she can... that was a bit weird for me.
I half expected Mordin to have some kind of mass wipe-out grenade or something hehe. Oh well, he's probably just holding back so Shep. doesn't look bad in front of her/his crew

It's actually pretty fun rolling with Mordin + Zaeed with an Infiltrator. Double Incinerate and Inferno Grenade to catch the stragglers?Nightfire78 wrote...

I call it Team BURN THE HERETICS, PURGE THE UNCLEAN.
One thing I really enjoyed about Mordin is that for all his depth and complexity, he requires the least emotional hand-holding from Shepard. He's probably the most mature person on the crew. What's that, Miranda? You're sad? Well, I'm gonna go sing with Mordin, he dealt with his issues on the shuttle ride back.

That should so be a battle cry in the game... and then when you ask Joker about the squad he would say, "What was all that "burn, purge heretic" stuff about? I think we're full up on crazy now."

Well, you CAN change your armor color to gold, give yourself large shoulderpads, take the Carnifex in one hand, Shuriken Pistol in the other, and go cleanse the galaxy of some filthy xenos...it's a mite heretical, though, taking the guise of the Emperor like that.Nightfire78 wrote...

YESSS. I went back to the lab after his loyalty mission, all "Wow, Mordin....you need to talk about this, right? Let it all out buddy, let it all out."
And he was just, Nope. Dealt with it, moved on.
