Ok I don't know what exactly is meant by partial nudity. To be honest complete nudity does not offend me but I was just wondering what it means. Its so vague, I mean I bought the game and I love it, but it just makes me wonder what they mean.
So do the mean that you see your romance in a bra etc. or are they topless?
Well you see what I'm getting at. Can some one please answer that question?

P.S. Imo they got too much crap for in ME1 for the "sex" and they reall whimped out on it in ME2....please don't do that for ME3, ruins the romance scene if its like 5 seconds long -.-  *sigh*

It means that they have their underwear on during the romance scene.

Sigh, why does everything think they backed off on the issue. So you don't get any digital booby, so what? If anything I think *most* of the relationship endings are better handled and provided a more mature experience when compared to ME1.

Have you ever seen a desire demon? They basically have everything but the nipples showing, that's probably where the rating comes from.

Not that it warrants a discussion, but they kinda totally did back off on the "issue".

The real question is how much of an "issue" is this really?

In my honest opinion, not big of a frickin' deal. And it's not a sign of lost integrity, I'll agree with them there.

It was a choice they made. I can abide by choices, even if they are about putting your foot down from a different spot from earlier. Minds change, people change and games change.

Besides, as a PC user, questionable morality is never a concern.

The female underpants are very similar to Miranda's costume if you look close enough.

Not like I have, ofc.

Showing full breast is nudity. Covering the nipples would be partial nudity. To give an example.

The sexual scenes were part of the romance, meant to communicate their love for each other... not the romance. Showing more than what was shown, in MEI, MEII, or this game wasn't necassary... the point is getting the message accross (about their love/relationship)... not feeding your sex drive.

And the partial nudity = desire demons and the Lady of the Forest.

You are the reason that people think everyone that enjoys the romances and want the old romances to continue in expansions/sequels just want something to whack-off to.

its mean some side boob and such :P barbie doll body nudity also.

And why do people like the poster above me seem to think that if you want nudity its because you want to get off, is the human body purely sexual to them or something. Sex and Nudity are not bad vile things like America seems to think.

Sex is a beautiful thing. A gift from God. I am not against sex that is a misinterpretation of my post, I will have to go reread it and edit it if the fault for the misinterpretation is mine.

I point you to this quote from the OP...

"IMO they got too much crap for in ME1 for the "sex" and they reall whimped out on it in ME2....please don't do that for ME3, ruins the romance scene if its like 5 seconds long -.-  *sigh*"

IMO, if showing more than caressing and kissing for 5-10 seconds ruins the 'romance' scene than I find it easy to interpret that as it not being enough to get him off. I can't think of any reason for it to 'ruin' the romance scene unless you want some, pardon my language, digital p*ssy as the saying goes.

I think bioware is a little careful with ratings after the media went haywire regarding Mass Effects sex scene.

I don't feel like digging too much to find a proper link; but this should give you the jist of it if your not familiar with that debacle.

I wonder about Morrigan in one of the mage's robes (don't remember which one, I can't get to the game right now but it's not Morrigan's robes and it's not the red robe that Wynn has with her either). The top part is not as hot as when she's in her Morrigan's robe, but it's light blue and it looks like it's see-through below the waist. No matter which way I look at it, she looks like a natural brunette to me.

The media dont have a fking clue how the world works lol.

GAMES SHOWING NUDITY!? OMFG, PHONE THE POPE!

Games arnt just for kids.
Films have had nudity since the 60's
Primetime tv has "partial nudity"  hell, its on during the day.

Either the media truely doesnt understand, or they were just looking for a cheap story to attempt to boost ratings, because we all enjoy watching the news right?

Really is a shame if bioware have taken it to heart, or EA tightened the leash.

EA is likely most concerned about the ESRB rating of  the game.  No media coverage is "bad" media coverage.

A "M" rating game "may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language."  No nudity allowed.

An "AO" rating would have been given to the game if it contained "prolonged scenes of intense violence and/or graphic sexual content and nudity."

"M" or Mature-rated games are still going to sell and are widely available in major retail stores.  An "AO" or Adults Only-rated game would not even be sold in most retail stores.  Stores like Target & Best Buy aren't going to touch an AO-rated game.  Not being able to buy the game at large retailers like that would likely have had a very negative impact on sales.

There are mods available that extend the sex scenes & there are nude mods out there; so, just turn to the community instead of EA.  I do not "JO" to this game or any other game, but I much prefer my mods to the game version.

I think there's enough subtle sexual intrigue in the game to keep an adult interested in that, if THAT is important to you. To me it's just one of the many aspects of the game that combine with everything else (deep conversation trees, codex, equipment, enCHANTments, travelling, battling, interrelationships between party members, story line, unique interior/exteriro design (not cookie cutter like Oblivion)) to make this a great game.
