1 - i've noticed when i aim (LT) with a shotgun, the recticle does not get smaller so my question is does aiming even help with the shotgun or is it just as good to shot from the hip.

2- how do you do the quick reload trick with the shotgun. please do not refer me to the youtube video. i learn by reading not watching some vague youtube video. also, can it only be done with the claymore, or all shotguns?

I don't think aiming with the shotty really helps aim the shotgun blast. You're already right on top of your target, y'know what I mean? I do find it helps the user, though. You should always be striving for the headshot and looking down your sight will increase that chance.

I don't know how to do the ammo trick. Sorry.

Pretty sure the Claymore is the only gun that benefits from the reload trick, but I could be wrong. As your first question, I don't think aiming makes the spread tighter. The spread is a function of the gun. Properly positioning your body and holding the weapon does not make buckshot spread less. Doing so merely absorbs recoil.

It just helps you scope your target better, it does little to condense spread of the shotgun.
