hi guys,

i have a serious problem with the screen colour when i play the game. The problem starts from the character's creation screen, when the colour background is almost always red. When the game starts, the colour background changes from red to green(sometimes for a couple of seconds the colour is ok). Despite that, the game's perfomance is ok but the colour problem is very annoying and makes the game unplayable....please send me some help

thank you in advance!Posted Image

Tell us about any testing you have done with alternate video drivers!    Those are almost always where this error comes from.  What is your actual video card (if any) name?

(Edited for a typo found a year later)

I'm having this problem too, my system is:

CPU - Intel Core Duo 540 @ 1.66Ghz

GFX - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600

I've not done anything to my video drivers. I have checked that they are up to date though.

RAM: 3.00 GB

thanks for your responce guys....

gorath what exactly do you mean about testing with alternate video drivers?

i am afraid that there graphic problems in the game with video cards from ATI Radeon in general. I have red from other forums that there is the same problem to other users of ATI cards. Is that possible? If Bioware and EA have this attitude against ATI for supporting other companies(gforce?), it is unfair and ridiculous.I have to wait a new patch to play the game?it is tottaly unfair...

did you find a fix zamou? I have the same problem but have no idea what graphics card I am running... it can be fine in one position and then I turn and the screen goes pink and turn again and it goes red and sometimes it is just a blank green screen then I turn and it goes normal again.

First off, it is "almost" always a driver fault for this type of error.  Second, that card is below the game's minimum, so is certain to have some kind of problem, even with a correct driver.

No one has heard from that poor misguided member since then, I do not believe (he was really some kind of conspiracy freak, though, wasn't he?)  The game's own configuration tool will tell you what card it found.  Then you can get a driver upgrade, and DO NOT WASTE TIME assuming that Microsoft has the latest, since you don't CARE about the latest, necessarily, you just want a DIFFERENT driver, and can only trust AMD to get it from..

Microsoft's driver updates do not count.
