I don't want Mass Effect 3 to be the end of this universe. Perhaps of Shepards story yes, but there's way to much to do.

Dead Space would have been made better if it was set in the Mass Effect universe for example, I love how Halo Wars continued the franchise in a new game setting, I would love something like that, anyone have any ideas?

Maybe a mass effect prequel? A mass effect RTS would be interesting though, i agree on that one

Mass Effect Armada: A Homeworld-esque space RTS game where you take the role of an Alliance cruiser captain (and later become admiral) as you command a fleet to take on the Reapers.

Will use hand motions in conjunction with Natal controls to move the camera and units around, just like the crew in the Normandy CIC holograms!

there's a whole lot of potential in the Mass Effect universe for more games, with or without Shepherd

Yeah I would love a Mass Effect RPS, possibly playing as someone like Jack slowly destroying Cerberus. Starting with overthrowing a few ships here and there and eventually just an all out brawl.

anything multiplayer' no. they can make it, im sure they will, but halo 3 and WoW have murdered any and all desire i ever had to play a game with more than just me playing it.

an RTS, general RPG, or something like that, yeah.

Thinking about it, having any characters from ME 2 being able to die means that it wouldn't be possible to have a game dealing with just those people.

Blah i really hope ME3 isnt gunna have any multiplayer aspects to it, after ME3 they can go all at it, but please dont add multiplayer to ME3...i hated gears multiplayer and i have a feeling that if mass effect had a multiplayer it would be similar to gears (since both are 3rd person)

I seem to be in the minority on these boards but I *don't* want to abandon my Shepard.



I would love a series of (perhaps episodic - though the current economic model works against this; see Valve) adventures.



After all, my Shepard is a Specter in a vast galaxy spanning a dozen sentient species (that we know of) and full of political and military intrigue, as well as many, many worlds to explore.



There are "mysterious ruins" on a BUNCH of planets in the codex alone!

After the Reapers are gone, I'm sure the temporary alliances of convenience will begin to creek at the edges, old antipathies will re-emerge. Plenty of possibilities there.

I don't mind multiplayer(i prefer coop, or at least objective-based team play) but I also concur - no multiplayer in ME3.  The trilogy was built to be an epic single player story, I'd rather they focused on the story and gameplay elements rather then on multiplayer elements.

Afterwards, I'd love to see more of the franchise.  I play multiple genres, so I don't really have a preference.  Would like to choose my own race and such though.

I'd want another high quality RPG set entirely in the Citadel and/or Omega. More puzzles, less shooting action. Set some time before, or even partially during Mass Effect 1. The main plot could revolve around the Shadow Broker, perhaps?

no mmo, and multiplayer bull. i think that anderson could have a nice prequel story. Zaeed could have a nice story, maybe something about samara. but bioware, please dont make stupid mmo type games in mass effect universe. it would feel like bioware has run out of ideas and tries to squeze the last bit of money out of it. stay in single player!!!

NO MMO's. They'll kill the universe. An rts will suit it greatly.
