Tali is 24 years old according to some of the people in this thread. Shepard is in his early 30's. Lets say hes 34, maybe 35. 10-11 years, ok a decade is a bit of an age difference.  If Shepard was 24 and Tali was 14, that would be a "Big" problem. But 24 is not 14, she's woman and able to make her own choices.

Wrong. As of ME2, Liara is 108, Tali is 24, and Shepard is chronologically 31, biologically 29.

It's probably just higher quality textures or something.

Maybe. My Shep is still with Liara, so Tali is available. And if it means I get Kal'Reegar on my squad in ME3, all the better.



Yes, Tali and Kal could just be friends. Or they could be more.

I completely agree. I hope something comes of it. We could probably stop world hunger with the collective emotional breakdown energy of worldwide Talimancers.

I happen to BE a Talimancer, and as soon as I saw the title of this thread my stomach knotted up and I decided to kill Kal. If they did end up together our collective emotional breakdown could solve the energy crisis, world hunger, and allow us to develop FTL travel. I cannot let this happen.

Nope not really. Kal was a good soldier under orders to protect her. He showed no issue or regret at her running off to join Shepard once the assignment was over. He refused to call her by name. "Ma'am" is not what I'd call chemestry.

Not saying it would be completely out of the picture if she wasn't romancing Shepard, but as it currently stands, no.

I'm not really seeing much chemistry. At most, Kal has a crush on Tali, but I don't see Tali as being interested. Kal is too timid, cordial, and professional around her, as opposed to Shepard who she is attracted to. If Kal helps Tali, it's because he's a soldier ordered to. If Shepard does it, it can mean something much more.

Kal was her friend, sure, but I didn't see or feel anything between them. Tali is a caring person; nothing in her attitude towards him seemed more than her attitude towards anyone else who wasn't actively pissing her off. Besides, Tali tells Shepard that he or she is the only person in the galaxy that she would link suits up with and she was more than willing to be exiled to protect her father's name.

Maybe, but I'm pretty sure Kal and Miranda are secretly up to something.

I thought this too. I think it'd be really cute if you could hook them up, should you not romance her (as my FemShep obviously did not). Same with Miranda and Jacob.
