I think that dwarves should all sound like the taco bell chihuahua and prefer tequila to ale. As an american, it's a stereotype that I'm more comfortable with...
(swear to g*d, it's a joke. don't hurt me)
There is no doubt Dragon Age will be great, but I am drastically Offended dwarves don't have scottish accents in dragon age

I would love to have Dwarfs with real Scottish accents, like Sean Connery, the cast of Local Hero, or even the exaggerated Simon Pegg in Star Trek. The super-fake, gruff accents from most fantasy I can do without.
Oh, and I assume that their arms are longer so that they can realistically wield a weapon. They are already wee, and short arms just kill their reach. Real Dwarfs would eat it in a fight with a human because they could not approach close enough to attack without getting stabbed.

Try to be less obvious next time.honestly, this is exactly what I thought. I thought of dwarves being irish and scottish, since im pretty sure the irish are known for drinking and having beards. I only learned dwarves have scottish accents because i read somewhere "dwarves are scottish."flamechamp23 wrote...
But im not really bothered by the dwarves in dragon age not having scottish accents. Like I said, that voice actor who does spike in cowboy beebop is awesome and i know he'll voice the dwarf fine in this game.
