Ok, I know the expression of a dead horse and a stick comes to mind but...can we have more desire demons in awakening?  Particularly, the ability to recruit one into the party :)  Seeing all those mods for the PC version is making me wished I had gotten that one instead of the xbox version.

Thanks,

Desire Demon lacky

Probably won't happen in Awakening, but I'd love to see a Demon companion in the future for a sequel. I'd love to see more of what demons are like / why they possess people. There's a lot of great opportunities there. I think the Fade is a great setting for a lot of the more bizarre/fantastical creatures in DA that wouldn't make sense in Thedas.

I think it would be awesome to see something like The Pale Man in Pan's Labyrinth there.

I think a Demon as a party member would be... interesting.

I'd prefer a Pride demon. Assuming we're talking about interacting with a demon-possessed party member, and not just wanting a mostly-naked succubus with us.

It would be very easy to fit into the story, especially if you chose to follow a certain plot line in the original story (for sake of not having spoilers - I'm refering to quests related to blood magic - Connor would make an excellant party member *wink*)

Thanks,

Blood Magic talents should have a low level demon summon.

Desire Demons are too high to be controlled by a mortal.

Greater rage demon or Hunger would be better.

i think there would be several ideas for party members that would be 100 times more interesting then the ones we have...i'd have some good idea....

always nice is the party member that is actually evil but changed sides... e.g. a darkspawn that changed the sides, or maybe a darkspawn-human bastard... or a demon that doesnt want to be a demon anymore... or anything like that....

also the main party members could be a bit more interesting and not that 0815...e.g. a darfen warrior that rather wants to be a philosopher and poet... i like these kind of ironic characters...

ps: other possibility just make shape shifting abilites more interesting -e.g. you can change into a demon or something...the ones you have are soooo boring

/agree shapeshifting was poorly implemented (so much more they could do with this)

/agree the ability to have a minion for blood magic would be fun :)

/agree party needs more (catch phrase coming) diversity :)

My favorite aspect of Bioware games that hasnt been reused yet was KOTOR 2 in which you could change your party by making them more good or evil and their apperance and interactions changed based upon this.

I support the idea of adding a Desire Demon to the party. I wouldn't care if she has the standard Desire Demon model,or a unique one. This would make gread DLC.

If it is not possible, can we at least have a female-only armor or "robe" that is identical to the Desire Demon's attire? Or 5 outfits themed around the 5 types of demons? That would be fantastic.

Besides the Mages and Templars, I doubt that most people would know what the Demons look like, so I don't see any problems with them being in your party.

Hmm... perhaps the PC could actually be possessed but is fighting it. Possessed by a desire demon that only s/he can see and tries to influence his/her actions. Oh, and could count as an extra party member by some sort of telekinesis explanation.

If you get what I mean.

If you guys really want this that bad, just get the PC version. Easy. So many awesome mods will fill these DA voids you have. One mod gives my Mage the ability to summon every kind of demon in the game. :P

PC: Hello, passerby! Meet me and my various party members!

Passerby: Hello! Although I am unused to meeting purple-skinned, glowing-eyed individuals with horns and blue flames for hair wearing nothing but twin nipple-rings linked by a slender gold chain and behaving in an aggressively sensual manner, I have no information that links such a description to a specific kind of demon. Therefore I am untroubled by her presence.

Desire Demon: Snarl! Spit! Hiss!

Passerby: My, what a spirited young woman-thing! I'm delighted to meet you both.

Desire demon in the form of a possessed party member would not cause too much of a stir amongst other npc's. To you, you see Desire demon. However, to everyone else they see the possessed party member. Also, if you went the route of the desire demon as itself in the party and not a possessed party member, well the demon can work some mojo and make most people see her as she wants them to see her (Think of the Mage circle quests and the poor Templar that wanted a family).

I have actually thought about getting the PC version of the game for the fantastic mods. Would love to see Bioware make a DLC with some of the best mods from the computer version for the counsel version of the game (but I digress).

Desire Demon, as party member...Do it :)

Seriously, a pride demon would be all kinds of fun.

It'd be like having a devil on your shoulder with no angel on the other to counter it.
