I have an account I made when Dragon age came out. I got mass effect 2 today and added the codes to my account and downloaded the DLC's. When I hit play on mass effect 2 it brought me to an "activate your game" page. The page said to enter your email and password. so I did, and every time even after I changed my password just to make sure it never worked. The pop-up kept saying Invalid login.

How do I get past this? If I make a new account wont I loose all my DLC since it's tied to this account?

Make sure your password doesn't have any special characters in it. They work when logging into this site, but the games choke on them.

DLC is tied to your account. If you made an new account, you'd need to get the infamously unresponsive EA Support to transfer the content from the old account to the new account.

I have all my games tied to this account, along with my DLC. Mass effect 2 is registered to this account, but when I try to login it just says "invalid login".

I tried makeing a new account, nothing registered to it. Just to see if the login itself was working. I could login under that name (didnt login all the way so it wouldnt bind to that new account)

So I'm stuck with the problem of this account having everything registered to it but won't be accepted. (It's not the password btw)

Mass Effect 2 requires an EA account, did you create one and linked it to your Bioware account?

If it works for Dragon Age, the same account should work for Mass Effect 2.  LordBrimmer, are you still able to log into Dragon Age with the same account?

All accounts on this site are automatically linked to an EA account, if there isn't one already a new one is created when you make an account on this site.

Make sure that your ea account and your bioware account uses the exactly same password and

e-mail. Make sure you also get an e-mail from ea saying 'welcome to your new ea account'.

I just got off from a online chat with EA, no help. They kept saying my codes for both dragon age (been playing since it came out) are unused (clearly is being used) and my mass effect 2 code is unused (made a 2nd account to test it and the game said this code is already being used) so yes this account im on atm is using the code.

both emails are the same so thats not it. I can log in fine with my new account (that has nothing on it) but if I try to login as the account that has all my DLC and registers it wont work. just says "invalid login"

sweet cream on an ice-cream-sandwich

got the same problem, and try the infamous ea-"support"... let's see what comes around. i'll keep this updated.

anyone else got something? the other requests are rather old by now... what did you guys do?

EDIT: update: so, i joined the EA support chat today. they said that i got this error message because the cerberus network key was occupied fraudulently by my retailer (what do we learn from this? when an offer at ebay looks too good to be true, it probably is >.<   should stop believing in the good inside other people, eh?), so EA "blocked" my account regarding the bonus content, making it "currently invalid"

support then said i'd have to buy a new cerberus network code (only that; the rest of my account is fine, they said).
so, i bought bioware points, and got me a new cerberus network, which was applied successfully - at least it said so
happily as i was, i launched ME, went to login, and.... nothing -.-" still the same error message.
the problem has been forwarded to "senior support"; thus more info is to follow
