So, I only played as engineer. Problem is, with only one class I'm screwed out of any of the biotics/soldier (gun) achivements.

So I plan to start a completely new game, solely dedicated to getting these achievements fastest possible with minimum playing. Any suggestions on where a good spot would be?

Feros, seemed like a good place when youare fighting the Thorian and the creepers attack, but that is way into the game

Does the game record the kills regardless of if I progress in the
game or not? I'm wondering if it is based on me saving the game, then
it saves the stats.

It really sux that you have to play this game at least 3 times just to get the insanity achievement, not to mention another two plays for the class specific achievements like the biotics, guns or tech....

I know that in Dragon Age the kills are saved by the system itself. There's a trophy/achievement that is "kill 1000 darkspawn" and I did it with another character before finishing the story with my first one. So I guess the system is the same on Mass Effect.

They DO NOT carry over to every character. They are only carried through multiple playthroughs in the same "career"



I would suggest if you have pinnacle station get to around a level 10 adept before distributing any points, make a save, then distribute your points to level up to acquire each biotic talent needed for the achievements, and then go to pinnacle station on casual and spam, spam, spam, rinse, and repeat.



You can get each achievement in a few minutes after getting to pinnacle station. Probably 4 hours for each character build. This would also work for weapon achievements you don't have.



Pinnacle station is by far the easiest place to get mass amounts of kills.

On the PC version they achievements are for the profile, not the character. So any new character you make on your profile will have the achievement unlocked.



If you just want the biotic achievements. Go to a planet, and hit the Mako with your biotics until you get the achievement. I think you actually have to shoot bad guys for the gun ones.

What monkey? You mean the space cows? There aren't that many of them from what I have seen.

On Eletania, (same Galaxy Feros is in, the other system) there are four colonies with 10 monkies each. Just kill the 10 with your weapon of choice and reload the game. You may have to do it.. 15 times or so, to get 150 kills (depending on what you used to get there). The only annoying thing is there is a level 1 hazard on that planet, but if you need more time, you can just jump in the mako.



Most of the biotics can be done earlier, like in the Citadel. You can do it on any of those signs that teleport you to the other areas. Only problem with doing it so early is your cooldowns are very long.
