This is cool. I hope the ME wikia makes this an article, as this is a good amount of information that deserves it's own wikia page.

There are also pages dealing with the various known alien races, though it might not hurt to have a page devoted to the mysteries (like Ploba or Preying Mouth). Anyway, I thought there needed to be a central location to have an overview. I hope this is useful to people.

Hmm... planet-sized supercomputer? Or an ancient spacefaring race leaving weapons of war there? Sounds noteworthy to me.Ploba is the second, and by far the larger, of Antaeus' two gas giants. Active scans by survey ships have returned tantalizing indications of massive, solid structures deep within the atmosphere, too regular in pattern to be anything natural.
Some believe Ploba is a "Jupiter Brain", a planet-sized supercomputer. Adherents of this theory have fruitlessly beamed signals toward the sunken megastructures, hoping to get the machine's attention.
Others believe that an ancient spacefaring race disposed of their weapons of war by dumping them into the planet. The last attempt to reach and salvage Ploba's "Deep Anomalies" went tragically wrong, and ended with a crew of 12 being trapped and crushed in the gas giant's lower atmosphere.

Ah... Ploba is listed

Preying Mouth.
I bet there's a Reaper hiding in it. Reapers are responsible for everything.

I didn't mean all the same information that is listed on each wikia page should go into another wikia page, of course that's redundant.
I meant possibly having a page listing all the planets that had a sentient race living there, and they ended up getting destroyed by some sort of cataclysim; naturally, each planet there would be a link to the respective planet's wikia.

I wonder if Canrum should be listed. Though it played a minor role in ME2 (certainly compared to Klendagon) Grunt refers to Shiagur several times, as part of his heritage, and talks about the Battle of Canrum at some point. It's not really a mystery or has anything to do with the Reapers, but it does show that sometimes information on a random planet blurb can show up again.

Well you should maybe split your list in two parts then :
1st part --> "contemporary" planets of interest (homeworlds, colonies, battlegrounds, etc ... for actual races).
2nd part --> "archeological" planets of interest (millions years ago up to proteans).

You can see the Great Wall of China from space. You would definitely see a kilometer-wide scar from orbit.babylonfreak wrote...
I din't look at the models that closely, however at orbital distances even the Grand Canyon is far from an obvious geological features. Planets are very very big. Even a giant mass accelerator can only have so big a caliber, say if we exaggerate by several orders of magnitude, a one kilometer caliber. Klendagon has a mean radius of 7,377 kms, (Earth has a mean radius of 6,371 kms) or a diameter of 14,754 kms. At an altitude of say 300 kms (Low Earth Orbit) a one kilometer scar might be barely visble as a thin line. At a geostationary distance, ~ 46,000 km, it would be invisible.

Urban legend. You can't actually see the Great Wall from space. It's several kilometers long but only about 20 meters wide at its widest, and generally less than 10. Unaided eye, of course.

http://masseffect.wi...om/wiki/Gamayun
Gamayun is a hydrogen-helium gas giant with six large, icy moons. The outermost one, Gigula, is of note for a well-preserved wreckage of an ancient starship that was recognized by a turian military surveyor. Little information has been released to the public on the vessel, aside from a scholarly paper regarding how the internal layout suggests a horizontally oriented one.
