Grunt - No real possible personal back story due to his origin. Totally annoying. Would have prefered Okeer. In the few moments of talking to Okeer, he would have been a far more worthy replacement of the almighty Wrex.

Jack - Can only come back if I can personally shoot her at point blank with a shotgun

Zaeed - Totally pointless addition. No attachment at all. If he had convo options on the Normandy then this may have changed my opinion. Plus he is only there for the moolah.

Miranda - Why? She's just an attention w****, who disagrees with everything she says because it wasn't her idea. She annoyed the hell out of me with her Cerberus obsession. She's so perfect she whines about it a lot because her father gave her everything. I started liking Miranda after the loyalty mission, until she her doom talk once I got into the collector's base. I would have left her die after Samara mentioned she can hold the biotic barrier and sMiranda immediately pointed out how she can do it too because she is sooo bioticly PERFECT. I get it, you want me to acknowledge your perfection.

Jacob - He's just there to be there but there is no difference between him and Miranda. They both like to point how how anything you say or do is going to get all of you killed then start whining about it.

Ashley/Kaidan - It's like they were just cameo in ME and had no idea what was going on, like they weren't even part of your team. You meet them in ME2 only to have them throw a tantrum and flying dishes for joining Cerberus. Ashley is the one I hate the most, she can't get over her hatred of aliens.

Kelly - That woman never shuts up even when I don't have mail. And just having to see her back each time I get out of the elevator makes me want to space her.



I also want a pet varren for ME3

Mordin: Old.  He's like 90 in Salarian years.
Jack: No real reason to stay as a crew member, but a cameo would be cool.
Samara: MAYBE.  I think her code would prioritize the reaper threat to any other justicarin' she might be doing.

EDIT:
Oh, and Grunt is staying unless Shepard dies again or something.  Grunt has sworn his loyalty to Shepard..at least he did if you completed the loyalty mission.

Liara - I thought her ME1 characterisation was poor, (groundhog day dialogue), whilst her ME2 character's conversion just defies belief - even in a fantasy game.

Miranda... I specifically tried to get her killed in the end but she decided a bullet to the stomach was not a problem... grr...

I hate quite of few of the characters I've assembled. I don't like Jack. Jacob is a subpar love interest, and since being a love interest is the only reason he's there, he's pretty worthless. Miranda's face didn't transition well into video game format, so that always annoys me when she talks about how perfect she is. Ashley's racist against aliens, and aliens are the entire reason I picked up the first Mass Effect, so I don't like her either. Zaeed trying to pull the whole "badass" act while Shepard is in the room is just laughable.



That said, if I don't see every one of these characters in Mass Effect 3, I will flip a ****. Just because I hate them doesn't mean we're not a goddamn team. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time during the suicide mission hoping that nobody would die. I saved everyone and I want them back in ME3.



Also, I want the Turian Councilor to return. I don't want to hit him. I don't want to humiliate him, or yell at him, or anything. Honestly, I kind of like the guy. When the time comes for him to admit he was wrong about the Reapers, I will be there, offering a firm handshake.

Two reasons:



one, if I dont like a character, this means that Bioware has actually succeeded in making a character interesting enough for me to develop feelings about him/her, and so I'd like to further my relationship with that character if only in a negative way.



two, I want the pleasure of chucking a hated character out an airlock myself, rather than have Bioware simply write them out for me.

totally agree with the previous poster(spectre_shepherd)

one thing i dont like though, is martin sheen's "illusive man" , mostly because anderson/lance henrikson/saren/benezia's voices/character's where all so amazing in the first game and in part because me2 had no story for the characters in it to grow and for me to "bond" with, in fact me2 is all about collecting characters for some near meaningless "suicide mission" which to me felt like i was only there because the illusive man wanted me to be there.

what made me1 (and star wars) classic's where the epic good versus evil themes, awesome bad guy and amazing
emotional scenes, is there anything even remotely close to the epic benezia/rachni queen/ashley-kaiden/saving feros citizen/ saren realizing his been used at the end etc, these scenes where AMAZING, what does me2 have? i mean u rectruit a geth ffs and the first thing that popped in my head when i got to my ship was to run to tali and see what she'd say about the matter, she said nothing. i'd just recruited a geth which her ppl feared/hated above all else and all she could say when i spoke to her was "hey shepherd"...., and no the scene with her and legion arguing some time after doesnt come close to making up for that

and im off topic, but man i could type for hours on how the story in me2 was sold out to make way for a "cover based pokemon shooter", and dont even get me started on the lack of a mako or the terrible citadel in me2

(btw i am loving me2 im just soooo pissed they didnt give me a satisfying story esp as some of the new characters like  jack/legion really deserved it)

OP, you want to get rid of three of the best characters in the series? Also IMO the "Tali has no personality" comment is complete BS, unless you were asleep during her loyalty mission or something. Liara is a broette and Conrad is hilarious.

The only character that should never show up again ever is Morinth... who even likes her? She literally has no story besides "I'm a serial murderer/mind-rapist."

I really really hated Jack. But she died in my game so, that's taken care of. Thank you Bioware for killing off so many at the end, that was AWESOME.

but i honestly didnt have a problem with any of the characters, i liked all of them and wouldn't mind seeing them in ME3



yes some of them are a lot less interesting then others so maybe they can just have a reduced roll or something in ME3 like shepards old squad from part 1



so id pick samara and jacob to be out for part 3 or just have a reduced roll........BRING WREX BACK THO!!

although the sleazy lines weren't really "jacob's" fault perse, but rather a total goof on the devs part of handling femshep's demeanor towards jacob.  it may have been the most irritating thing in the game for me personally.

jacob was just kinda.........."whatever".  i guess i don't hate him or anything, but if he has to return in ME3 i certainly DO NOT want as much time dedicated to him.  And i ABSOLUTELY do not want him or miranda being the "briefing room" stars EVER again. yuck! no thanks.

when cerberus/TIM relinquished control to Shepard, why the hell did i have to honor those two's authority to greet my new recruits & counsel me on big decisions.  it made, "Thank you!.....both of you!....for your reccomendations" one of my favorite lines in the game.
