Agreed, although some characters already have outs more or less written or hinted for them now anyways, like Samara, Thane, Zaeed/Kasumi (doubt dlc chars will matter much) and Grunt.  Mordin's old by salarian standards, he's definitely more wrinkly than the average salarian.  Anything could happen with the rest, even for my two favorites in my sig.

I like nearly all the characters... and those I don't like are liked by someone else. So I want to see them all return. :-)

If you pushed me, and I absolutely had to list someone, I'd say I don't want to see Jacob again.  But presumably there are other people out there who do.

There are a few characters that I wouldn't be upset if they weren't even mentioned in ME3(Jack and Jacob, for example) but none of them that I actually actively want to not return. Aside from Ashely. but I can ensure she won't return in Mass Effect 3, so there's no problem there.

They should all die at the begining of ME3. Including Shepard. And instead of making the game a Shooter [like they pretty much did with ME2 but moar so], they should make ME3 an RTS. But not just any RTS, oldschool Age of Empitres Rise of Rome. And I don't mean based on it I mean a straight mod. That would seal the deal and make sure that a whole new genre market is molested by blasto.

No doubt there will be a huge celebration where the council claims credit for everything.

I want all of them back really, although there are some I'll miss less than others. If I was forced to choose some it would be Kaidan (but I take care of that myself on Virmire), Grunt (no offence but you are taking Wrex spot and I want Wrex back) and Jacob.

I actually don't think any (or at least only very few) will be back as actual squadmates, so the point is kinda moot.

• Grunt - Actually, I usually just leave him in his tank. Maybe I'll get a chance to sell him off to Batarian slavers for some quick creds. 

I'll keep Garrus, Tali, Samara, Zaeed and Legion alive. I'm hoping that I'll be able to sideline Ash in ME3 and not have her on my squad. Kaiden is dead in all of my ME1 saves. 

That will hopefully leave me with an ME3 squad of Liara, Tali and Garrus. If at all possible it would be nice to augment the squad with Samara, Zaeed and maybe Legion. That should hopefully be enough to get the job done.
