Ok, I could be wrong, but I thought Fergus and the Human Noble origin Grey Warden were from Highever?

the place looks awesome, but it might suck for people who have fan mods because awakening might not support it.

It's not just you. There's dialog in the Human Noble Origin where we're told that Howe's family (not Rendon himself, mind you) initially supported the occupiers and the Couslands had to take Harper's Ford from them. (There's actually little indication that they had Amaranthine at the time, even if their ancestors did during Conobar's day)filaminstrel wrote...
Is it just me, or has Howe's past been retconned? I thought there was some dialog/codex entry about how Howe's family was quick to bend over and take it from the Chevaliers. You know, to hint at their general weaseliness and shifting loyalties. The history here, conversely, makes the Howes sound all valiant and crap.
Perhaps it was just from dialog from a biased perspective where I got the impression that the Howes enjoyed putting on the furry outfit for their Orlesian masters.
I'm also a bit confused as to where Arl Byron - the arl of Amaranthine in TST - fits into this.
Oh well. *Shrug*

Ah yes, it's that historian in the HN origin who mentions it, I believe. This thread has some nice information on that topic.

I am a member of greywardens.com but find it frustrating that I have to go to all these different sites to see all these new trailers (curse.com...greywardens.com etc.etc.) when this stuff should all be on the awakenings add on page under world update as characters or places. Pretty lame when you cant even get the first viewings on the actual website, makes me wonder how much more I have missed by going the the actual website I am supposed to go for updates.
