Ever since this site launched, posting a well-formatted reply has been a challenge for me. The edit box appears to be wysiwyg but it messes up paragraphs and lists bigtime, resulting in posts with lots and lots of whitespace where it's not needed.
Please either have the editbox show the correct amount of whitespace being added while editing, or let the Enter key behave as expected: go down 1 line, without extra room.

Another option could be a Preview button, so formatting can be corrected before submitting the post, but fixing the underlying problem should really happen...

edit: and this post looks exactly how it should of course, making me look like a fool.. I really don't know why it differs at times

I gotta similar problem. The Reply Posting randomly screws up at it's Spaces & Linebreaks.

If you type your post in the Quick Reply box it adds extra line breaks.



If you go into the WSIWYG editor, which you get to by clicking on "use the standard form" when making a reply, or by editting an existing message, the extra line breaks get taken out.
