It been almost twenty years since they came out decent roleplaying games, my favorite would be the neverwinternights series, but lack of functions to complete. For examples we have NWN2 and several expansions came along with several good features, it make sense to add details and options (better) to the game to make profit than put all your eggs in one basket.

What happen here that missing so many good things, IE: mounts, swimming, climbing, item durablity, etcs. Its still imcomplete. Bioware use to be my favorite place to get what i needed for RPG and now it going backward or not making any good improvements. Just alittle of this and that, but never truely make it an epic RPG.

Several other companies are doing pretty good and hoping one of them will make things alot better, esp Bethesda. I remember playing that ol' Daggerfall and now its free to download to play but you will need to use DosBox to run it. Morrowind was great but needed better model textures and landmass was missing from the whole areas. Oblivion was pretty good, i was hoping to use there toolkit to make Realm of Faerun but it wasnt stable enough and wasnt easy to use either. Now they are working on something like TES:V.

After they have released Dragon Age, i waited for awhile cuz i knew there will be problems with it. Finally they got a patch for it and i though about grab it since it was on sale at Wal-Mart for 29.99. I wasnt happy with it at all. I played it enough and knowing it was a mistake buying this in the first place.

Guess not easy to find a good epic roleplaying games out there, i tried them all. For example Risen wasnt so bad afterall but lack of item durability, fatigue, many other things i cant think of right now. Even Gothic4 will be a joke, unless you just wanna hack n slash all day and not worry about how much strength you can carry all that heavy armor while running for hours lol.

Dont think i will buy anything from Bioware anymore since they didnt get it done right, anotherword backwardness. If i was rich i would simple hire all the programmers i could find and make it really good epic RPG. Most places where alot of ppls like to RP on PNP is great, but alot of smaller towns, even bigger ones doesnt have enough players would like to tag along due to hardship of life, families, serious drug problems, etcs. Im sure i will find something that i am looking for, but it wont be here anymore.
