I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else and/or is common knowledge or a stupid question, but I just learned about the editing features for the game and tried them last night, so now I have a question.

I went to the faces database site last night and saw some really nice ones on there, as well as some on this site in one of the threads. Then, to do the hairstyle I saw, I downloaded and ran the editor program they had (I'm at work and can't remember the name right now).

I got the hair working great. But the face, though it got softer it seems, looks nothing like what I saw in the photo. I tried like 4 different ones, including a really absurd funny one that looks nothing like what I'd had, and my face never changed.

I put the face codes in where it said to do it. I know I'm editing the right save because I was able to cheat my way into enough Paragon points to finally patch things up with Miranda. Do the face codes alter the bone structure underneath as well or are they just for color and whatnot? It doesn't appear that the underlying skull features are being changed, and if not, how do I change them so my FemShep matches the face I'm trying to use?
