So I was on my 10th playthrough of DAO and I set it up so that Isolde would kill Connor out of mercy cuz I killed all the mages in the tower since I thought the templars might be a nice change of pace and I refused to let Isolde sacrifice herself in the blood magic ritual leaving me with no choice but to kick some serious demonic assets. It's quite a riveting scene if you haven't seen it yet. Just fight the demon at the castle and use all the restraint you can by not choosing the option to knock Isolde's block off.
Anyways, she kills Connor with a knife but at the Post Coronation after you defeat the Archdemon you can talk to Eamon and he'll ask you if you notice anything odd about Connor and I'm thinking to myself "Ya he has a 4 inch laceration where his heart should be."
Is it a bug or just me? When it happened it was like wondering why Lando Calrizian/Billy D. Williams was wearin Han Solo's outfit at the end of Empire Strikes Back.
I have a feeling this post is going to turn into a "We hate Isolde Forum" but I understand hatred for her runs deep

Abomination child becomes Zombie child??? Man I just finally managed to figure out how to get to that point and if my game bugs that way to. And yes, having Isolde do it was FAR more dramatic than you just doing it.

Which begs another question. Is everybody in Ferelden packing one of those lil throwing knives? Don't they have Knife Control Laws over there or somethin? Does the Imperial Hwy suffer from constant Horse by Knivings? Are they always blamed on roving gangs like the poor minorities of the Dalish Elves? Just cuz they're on the wrong side of the wood? Speciesist!!!

I actually found rubbing her face in what she has done a LOT more satisfying than punching it. 'sides poor lil boy was so brave, all ready to die to save everyone left. I had to give him something and let Mommy resolve it. I sure as hell didn't wanna do it myself.

I'd have less of a problem letting her do it if I didn't have to go through some insipid dialogue first.
