I dont like her for her complete faith in Cerberus, and obvious disdain for my command. Plus she wanted to put a control chip in my head... She didnt want to let Tali take veetor, she wanted to sell legion, she wanted to keep Grunt in the tank. Basically, everything I wanted to do, she told me to do the opposite.
She was annoying and is number 9 on my list, right above Jack.
This is how I feel minus Jack being below her.

She wanted to put a frigging control switch in Shep's head dammit !
She is a control freak, and Shep got his/her head saved only thanks to TiM being the boss *sigh*
Exactly.
Which is more that good enough reason not to trust her.
I've been greatly surprised that she didn't betray Shepard in the end, though it was a pleasant surprise, of course. Never seen it coming)

Really, I can't see anyone hating any ME2 character's other then Jacob, he is like this huge pile of awfulness that any other ME character becomes a shining beacon of perfection when put in comparison.

I never cared much for Miranda, but I do not hate her, not enough to complain unless someone makes a post like this asking for opinion's I suppose.

The thing I think is missed about Miranda is that she is just as much an abuse survivor as Jack. .
Miranda was not raped.Miranda dont have to fight other kids and have to think that others want that she kill them.
She was not tortured.
Subject Zero was abused in both ways(psychic and physical) in a degree not even near comparable with miranda.
And no,her father dont want her to be killed.Otherwise the mercs would attack her on sight on the loality mission. Why should he spare her this time?

Maybe not comparable abuse....but abuse nontheless. Everyone suffers and deals with abuse in different ways. But you can't honestly say that she wasn't abused.tonnactus wrote...

Thank you. The nature and severity of the abuse is not relevent to a person/character's status as an abuse survivor.

For every fanboy action, there is an equal and opposite anti-fanboy reaction.

I think people's view of Jacob is split depending on whether or not you play a femShep or maleShep first.
Most femShep players really hate Jacob, because the romance with him is practically forced down your throat any time you so much as talk to him. It is to the point that many femShep player's, myself included just do not talk to him at all any longer outside of the ship upgrade and loyalty quest.

And I think her father perfected the "perfect ass to body" ratio
But in the end, she's still a b!tch so she loses all her points in my book.
And to the OP, nope never liked cheerleaders, wasnt a math nerd either...I think you would call me the class clown of the bunch & my teachers hated me. :'(
But in the end I came out on top so it's all good :>
Miranda does redeem herself at the VERY end of the game by siding with me when I blow the collector ship up, but hey...far too late.

This. I like Jacob, but I don't talk to him (besides to get his loyalty quest and upgrade). It's not his fault I don't speak with him...I'm just afraid of what will come out of my FemShep's mouth.

For me....I am afraid my Shepard may commit suicide out of sheer boredom by talking to Jacob. He already had to leave the other boring squadmate to die on Vermire....Kaiden I'm looking at you.jlb524 wrote...

But, that's the key to her character. She's as human as the rest of us, but she was designed to be perfect. So, she strives to meet those expectations. Being human, it's impossible to truly be perfect. She isn't able to even pretend to use physical or mental flaws to explain or excuse mistakes, because it's all perfect.Soma Holiday wrote...
I find it hard to sympathize with someone who hates themselves for being 'too perfect.' That just doesn't make sense to me. I don't trust her and I don't find her story that interesting. Why did her father do this to her anyway? Was she his sex slave of something? Was he just interested in genetic modification? To what end? She said she wasn't the first, just the first he'd kept...Didn't really get that part...
I don't hate her, but I won't be dying to see her in ME3...
Thus, her comment of how she can only take credit for her mistakes. That's a crazy burden to bear.
On top of that, she's presented with Shepard... a non-engineered human that, for the game, actually IS perfect.
Yes... she wasn't tortured. No, you can't really compare her upbringing to Jack's. Still, she is in her own version of hell.
I didn't care for her much in the beginning.. the one line that started turning me around was during her loyalty mission. "I never planned on Eclipse. But they never planned on you."
