I just started my femshep playthrough, having done the first round with vanderloo shep to work out the bugs and get a feel for the game. I always found his face kind of creepy when showing any positive emotion, which was even more noticable in ME2 with the better graphics (crazy eyes, anyone?).  It is a whole different story with femshep.  It is so refreshing to see the character show genuine expressions on her face, and they look great! Femshep smiles for everyone!

On an unrelated note, that was the most intense game climax I have ever played. I have never felt so much anxiety over decisions in a game before. Thumbs up to Bioware for making you care about pixels on a screen. Lost Mordin, Zaeed and Legion on my first run, but going for the No One Left Behind achievement this time around.

needless to say she doesnt smile much.



i like when legion flares out his neck plates. he's definitely the most expreessive non-humanoid robot i've probably ever seen. very creative on bioware's part.

Legion kind of reminds me of Wall-E's really badass cousin

Yes! I support this thread so much! Femshep's smile to Chakwas was amazing, reassuring smiles during Garrus romance scene were sweet and this foxy commander's face during Jacob romance scene was the best thing in it. Oh, and this sweet expression - full of joy, subtle but vivid - during first meeting with Joker and giving Normandy a new name. And so much more! I appreciate Shepard's coldness in ME1 though - it made smile during final scene with Sovereign's wreckage so awesome!



I love beautiful smiles, always and forever. In my personal rank the most touching smiles are Kaidan's and Samara's - reassuring, honest, with meaning. The only thing which blocks me from falling in love with all turian race is a fact that their facial expressions are... well, mainly wishful-thinking. We didn't see a smiling drell yet, but from what we've seen so far we can assume they're capable of it - waiting for it is one of the sweetest tortures! Sometimes when my FemShep talks to Thane, he seems to... almost half-smile... and his voice is a little softer... or these are just hallucinations. Ha, naughty Shep.



I find MaleShep showing positive emotions rather... strange... maybe because it doesn't fit the emotionless voice at all. But he has one amazing moment - when he looks at Tali during taking off her helmet. It was so touching, romantic, so open... I saw devoted, enchanted and loving man there, a man who really cares about Tali, who wants to shield her and warm her and... I was just crying the river.



This is a thread with so much positive energy potential! Don't let it die!
