You might post about this in the general forums. A lot of people who are good voice actors don't even look at the toolset forums.jazzy B 3 wrote...
I should mention that we haven't got any females on the database yet, so come on ladies, give it a try. What have you got to lose.

Voice acting as been the bane of good mods in Oblivion and Fallout, I hope that we can make dragon age different.

Has it been mentioned in the DA:M? If there were some kind of discussion topic that we Voice Actor's Guild members could put a link in maybe it would draw attention to us.Laxon wrote...
You might want to ask around in the DA:M group, we have a lot of enthusiastic members there and I wouldn't mind joining efforts ether, since we are thinking of doing what you are doing with most resources.

BTW I am a female ameteur voice actor with a few voice samples (rushed samples tbh).

I won't take part as your sappy female sidekick, unless you happen to be Xena.

Please don't forget to PM me the links to your projects or sample downloads. I don't have the time to trawl through the social site looking for people who have samples uploaded. For example I don't have samples from Aerows or Evalee. Of course you don't have to add yourself to the database, but it's an extra level of advertising for you, and puts everything in one place for Modders to find you easily.
I have tried the general forums, but I got no interest at all from there.
Laxon, as long as your modders are aware of the resource, then that's fine. It's on the front page of "projects" so is easy to come across.

If I recall someone pointed me towards a thread or group on the NWN2 forums that had a number of voice actors, it might be worth a look to find that thread or grouping and see if anyone from there would be interested in doing VO for Dragon age as well.
Also, if the group/project admin wants to grow this further one could do a search for acting groups on line and point them towards here. There might be some good voice acting talent out there that simply doesn't know about this game or has no real interest in gaming but still likes to try voice acting.

Was just reading through the wiki and noticed that. Such awesome news, that'll really help with placeholders. Beerfish, you've used/seen the editor in action I believe, right? Does the lip-synching work well for custom VO? Is there a way to tweak it to match if it doesn't synch up properly?
