I was wondering.. Ever since I finished my 5th playthrough of ME2, I noticed, the only reason Tali and Garrus made their way into ME2 as recruitable squadmates, was because they were the only two that couldnt have a chance of dying. (I know, Liara too, but word is there will be a DLC mission about her.) Anyway.. Seeing as EVERYONE in Mass Effect 2 can die in the suicide mission, will we need an entirely new crew?
Will bioware find away to do voicework and acting for characters that might not even be in your playthrough, and not make it a waste?
Or will we need to recruit ANOTHER new squad? Because I got rather connected to some of the characters, especcially Legion, Tali, Samara, and Jack.
I really want to be able to continue their stories...
Please Bioware, don't let us down, make Mass Effect 3 the masterpeice of the game industry!
(PS, wouldnt mind if the mods like Christina Norman could drop hints or at least their ideas/take on this.)
Vital Game Question! Squad and Suicide Mission.

Would be funny if BW doesn't add any new squadmates in ME3, and whoever survived ME1 and 2 are all on your squad list. So, any Shep that can transfer will have at least 4 squadmates in ME3 to choose (virmire survivor, liara, and whichever 2 from ME2 that allowed you to survive as well).

I think that they would at least have all ME2 squad mates have cameos. Even if they don't survive, they would just be excluded in your specific playthrough. Why else would they even have an achievement (for the Xbox 360, I don't know what they have for the PC) for having everyone survive? Like you I hope they return as squadmates, but I wouldn't mind new characters either.

yeah, I guess it would have to be like that, but why do they let us get so connected to these characters, just to replace half, or all, in the next!
Made me angry once I realized I would have to re-connect with another few characters, and forget all the past ones..
Tali, I shall miss you...

Quadruple post FTW!
I think you can be sure Tali will be back. If not, what is now known as BioWare will disappear under a mob of angry Tali fans.

... Rofl, sorry, I'll fix that. My damn computer has been lagging badly lately.
I guess you're right about tali at least. There's too many damn fans of her to let her die forgotten.
