I'd love to see some gay romance options in the next game. I was actually disapointed when I found out that Garrus was a romance option, but only for femShepard. Yeah, I'd like to pair my male Shepard off with Garrus. Love that dude.

Granted, I'm happy they added Tali as a romance, but I'm still disapointed that there is no man-smex going on.

I'd love to know if theres a reason why, besides the whole "it's geared towards men" thing.

Thats probably the main factor. Why create content that can potentially drive away customers and give you negative publicity? Also, this is assuming that the voice actor would be comfortable voice acting some man love. I am not that familiar with the voice acting industry, but could it be the kiss of death for their career?

Honestly, I don't really care about the maleShep/male romances in the slightest. The content simply doesnt interest me. It makes me wonder how many others fall in exactly the same catagory, not offended by the potential content, simply having zero interest in it. That could very well be the reason they didnt bother with it. Not enough of the consumer base interested in it. *shrugs*

All that being said I wouldnt mind some of my crew shacking up. Same sex couples or whatever.

Actually, she hints at playing both feilds but if you try to pursue it further she says she's not playing the 'girls team' or something. From then on she tells you to stop screwing with her.

I would have had space sex with her so hard.

At OP: I'm completely with ya. Bioware's response to the matter is completely half-assed, and they really spat in the face of this issue by giving Female Shepard the opportunity to become undeniably lesbian.

Honestly, if they're so concerned about their marketing demographic then they should just do exactly as they did in the first game: record Male/Male-Female/Female romances and make it so players can mod the game and have it react normally to gay relationships if they should so choose.

That's what they did with Kaidan/Shep in the last game, and I wasn't really disappointed with it overall.
