Hello, I decided to write this thread because I feel so pissed off by BioWare statement about FemShepard and MaleShepard. I'm heterosexual girl and I can understand when game does not include homosexual romances but I totally can't understand it, when game includes lesbian romances but does not include gay romances.

So BioWare please tell me one good reason why you doing that.  Just please don't tell me "Shepard is a pre-defined characte" because it's make no sense when I even can choose his sex and as FemShepard I can shoose her sexual orientation. I can't understand why the hell i can't choose sexual orientation of male Shepard when i can choose sexual orientation of female Shepard? I just want to know that, because that is one of very few things I totally can't understand.

For me as a heterosexual girl, "boy-to-boy action" is far more acceptable and pleasant to the eye than "girl-on-girl", what is saying simple, disgusting for me. And by this reason I feel totaly ignoring by BioWare, same as many girl gamers, according to posts here and on other forums. As I said, it's not a problem when game does not include same sex romances but if game includes lesbian romances but does not include gay romance, it's  just ignoring of girls(and other ppls but they said it in another threads) and it's shows you only worried about boys, and not this normal boys but that adolescent jerks, too worried about their sexuality to see two boys making out.

Your games(ME and ME2) are often refered as candidates to best games ever so please make it perfect in all ways. The one of main adventago os MEs is that you can direct your character anyway you want, but unfortunately, this applies only to female character. I just simply wondering why there is a range on sexualities possible for a female character, a male character can be only heterosexual. I just can't understand this, so please BioWare make it clear why you did it and, what is more important fix it and let us, girls enjoy the full adventages of this game too!

I can understand your currently policy if it's be thing than only few ppls want but after so much popular threads here(and on other sites too) and hundreds of ppls supporting it your policy of ignoring us and closing thread is just dissapointing. Bit like unintelligible restrictions restrictions in MEs after perfect Dragon Age where you don't discriminating girls. I think for such a big company policy like this is really unsuitable so please read this thread  and finally satisfy us!

To ppls reading this thread i just want say - i know there was been many threads like this before but none of them present the matter like this. And i know it's looks like it's be supossed to be letter to BioWare, not thread but support of ppls are important and since last thread were deleted we don't have thread like this(or i've missed it?sorry if someone else made thread like this) so I post it here, also for more ppls can read what I and most girl(according to girl's posts in much sites and my friends). And trolls please keep out, if you are too much worried about your sexuality to see two guys making out just don't do it, like in RL where you can do it but you don't doin, right? You have your lesbians so let us fight for same adventages too, pretty please, i don't wan Stanley Woo to have next pretext to close our thread and ignore us...  It's all what I've have to say, I think, so cya, i hope for support.

It's already been said but I will repeat it.  Most video game players are teenagers and men between 15-35 and aren't as confortable with male-male romance as they are with female-female (due to pornography).  It's pathetic, but Bioware and other game developers cater to this hypocrisy.

Rape and kiddie porn that usually is rape is hot?

Anything consensual is fine. But a vast majority of hentai I've seen usually is the above.

On the contrary, there's no reason to have any romances at all. Any rational reason (as in, not based on prejudice)  to exclude same-sex relationships applies to heterosexual relationships. If the game is a space opera that doesn't need same-sex relationships, it doesn't need heterosexual relationships. I'm sorry if you don't like hearing that, but I'm just telling you the truth.

So wait, if people ask for a certain type of content, they're 'militant' and 'throwing it in your face.'

If they complain that they aren't being given a chance to play the game the way they want and point out that the content existed and was removed because of the mere possibility of bad press, they're 'victims.'

Is there any way they can ask for what they want without getting slapped with some dumb label? No? I didn't think so.

Give me M/M relationships in ME3, please. It's really just as easy as the F/F ones you keep throwing out there. It won't hurt anyone more than it already has.

Cause lesbian sex is way more social acceptble then male to male ones?

Many girls have no problem kissing other girls while i know no men who can kiss eachother (beside some disgusting emo's- but they are all ****ed up in the head and doesnt count). Why? maybe becuse woman are the fairer sex and men are disgusting.

I find women making out disgusting. I am female. I would never make out with another female. Most who do that are attention w****s. There's a difference. Just like that guy who constantly whips out it infront of his friends. Most of us don't do that.

Okay:

Someone was arguing that the game doesn't need same-sex relationships because it's a space opera. I  pointed out that it doesn't need heterosexual relationships either - that the arguments used to justify exclusion of one can easily be used to justify the exclusion of another. Unsurprisingly, people don't get it because they think that one of those is normal and the other is exceptional, despite the fact that both are normal.

The point isn't whether or not you can ignore them, because that misses the point entirely. I'm not arguing for the removal of heterosexual relationships. I'm arguing that there's no rational  reason to exclude same-sex relationships if you're already including heterosexual relationships.

Also, all the arguments about Asari not really being female are cop outs. Asari don't exist in a vacuum, they're designed as female for a human audience which does happen to have people of different sexes and genders. And none of us play the game through an Asari lens (because Asari don't really exist), but through a human lens. Fem!Shep +  Liara = same sex relationship between two women.

No, but when they accuse of a whole company of being prejuduce towards their sexual orientation, because a choice they want isn't present, thats playing the victim.

Ask for M/M romances/complain they're not there. Just don't try to make it seem like your being persecuted over your sexuality, because your not.

The Logic! :o

It burns!!!! :crying:

Nah I'm just kidding. QFT.

And yeah BioWare like I said is going the route of the serving the lowest common denominator. Its only a matter of time before all creative intergrity is sucked up into the corporate machine and EA eventually uses them like a drunk 14 year old girl at a frat party.

*tuts*

Oh well. Was nice while it lasted.

Let's just hope BioWare manages to piece itself together and not slice its wrists afterwards.

I think everyone should be able to have a relationship with everyone, for example MShep can have a relationship with Mordin or Garrus or even Legion, and FShep can have a relationship with Tali or Miranda. I think that samesex relationships should be harder to acheive then hetero relationships, this will need to be for both genders however but it should be possible and and easily achieved but not as easy. I think it would be harder to convence one of my good friends to have a relation ship with me then a girl who ive become friends with. So i think it should be possible and it would be amazing! (I hope i explaned that right)

I have seen IRL girls i know making out with eachother while i have yet to see any guy i know kiss another one. My theory is cause we men see eachother as opposition by default and are reluctant to kiss eachother becuse of that.

The biggest gay society in history of our time  (athens to you americans who dont know ****) only had man to boy relationships, that way there was allways a dominator and a younger man so there was no competition. (being older gave natural superiority).
