When I first got the Viper, I used it like I would use the Mantis, and I hated it. I immediately switched back to the Mantis, however, I decided to experiment with it on Insanity, and found it to be far superior over the Mantis. And While I played my Infiltrator I found it to be way better than the WM as well. I have heard constant testimony for both the WM and the Mantis, but not the Viper. Who else here loves this gun?

While I enjoyed the Viper, I can't stand the fact that enemies "wiggle" each time you hit them in the head; meaning you can't chain headshots with the Viper. Without the headshot bonus to damage, you end up using almost as much Ammo as you would with the Widow.

On my Soldier I used the Viper because the Revenant is sex. But on an infiltrator, I would never take the Viper over the Widow.

When I first tried the Viper, I was a bit dissapointed, it took several shots to take one person down. I haven't tried it on Insanity though. Idk to me the Viper felt like a semi-automatic rifle with a scope instead of an actual sniper rifle.
