Meaningless gear is meaningless, not like you can't play dress up with all the new gear.

I don't really mind, I never purchased any dlc anyway.

I need a "I'd prefer to have DLC gear, but it isn't a big deal either way to me." option.

i prefer if they'd carry them over, but there would probably be better gear in Awakening anyway.

i hope there's an armor similar to the warden commander's armor. it looks so hot.

i bought every DLC but im not to put off by the fact that it wont transfer, i figure their'll be decent stuff in awakening anyway, not to mention you could find some decent stuff in Origins without DLC if you looked for it, on a side note though, i hope they do include some kind of chest to store stuff in, that was quite handy for me, but as far as DLC stuff goes, i'll just sell it before i transfer a character:)

My big problem is that I spent a fortune on getting The damned dragon armour and will start any new expansion significantly poorer than some one who started with a pirated or second hand copy. So supporting BW buying dlc ..preordering actually has been used by the company to punish us.

As you know the game is not a great source of gold and with the limited inventory obviously I sold the Vanilla armour etc long ago. So now I presume I will start poor, naked and unarmed way to go BW/EA that's taught me a lesson in Brand Loyalty.

The fact that they say we will get better stuff later in the expansion does not help being poor naked and unarmed at the start. Playing even 5/6 hours like that will be hard.

Indifferent. I do not care to purchase future DLC - Bioware can do what they like.

??? The Blood Dragon armor is ridiculously inexpensive compared to other high end gear. What about us poor saps that bought Felon's Coat, Evon the Great's Mail and Staff of the Magister Lords? I'd have a lot more money to import if I hadn't bought those! Now you're saying well you can sell those. Yes I can and you can sell Blood Dragon armor before you import and carry over the gold.

I wish they had told us sooner - I would have saved non-dlc gear. This way, my tank will start awakening naked, if I don't trot him back to an earlier save. (a WAY earlier save - I don't remember when I sold the other stuff.)

I really don't mind but it would be nice to have the stuff you paid for be in the game.

I'd prefer to have the gear I ended the game with purely for character continuity, and even if I'd replace it quickly, I'd prefer the option to simply have it in my inventory.

Hopefully the patch will fix this so I can buy Awakenings, if not... oh well.

I would prefer it to carry over *but* it's not a deciding factor as to whether I buy Awakening... Because I already have and I'm just waiting for the unlock.

The possibility of a patch is something I'm hoping becomes a reality, however, because it'd make things a lot simpler.

I would prefer it would carry over, but it's probably not going to happen. Good thing I play the PC version:devil:.

I'd prefer to have DLC gear, but I can live without it. The three best looking sets of armor in the game in my opinion are (in order) Warden Commander, Cailan's, and Legion of the Dead. Only one of those three will likely be usable in Awakening.

I'll give up all the DLC whining, though, if Awakening includes at least one or two more robes/hats for mages that Don't Suck. So far, though, all the pictures of NPC mages imply there will be continued Major Suckage for mage attire (unless one goes AW).

Didn't buy any of them so i'd prefer they weren't in awakening.

I paid for my DLC gear, too. But I feel I got more than my money's worth out of it, after repeated playthrus, so it not being transferable is not a big deal to me. I look forward to the new gear.

I wore the Blood Dragon armour all the way through. It's just so damn pretty. Certainly pretty weak though...

Perhaps what is meant is that you won't get the dlc gear *with* the expansion? You'll have to reinstall it or something and reactivate it and all that.

Either way I'm damn glad I've still got Wade's armour in my inventory.

I want more DLC, and do not care about the gear, it is the new story details that I go for in the DLC.

not like the DLC is just gear(cough horse armour cough)

I don't really care, I wear whats best, and the DLC stuff will quickly become useless.
