In denerim, after killing the three gangs, there was a strange warehouse that appeared, so I checked it out.  Lots of tough blood mages.  Got to the end of it and I am stuck .  I really have a tough time with blood mages fireballing me.  And if I go for them, the studs warriors cut me down from behind.  I am at the last battle for them.  I'm in the level 9 range, and I simply not ready for this?

ALso, got a quest about putting goats blood on the door of blood mages.  Where do I get the goats blood?

One other thing, anyone else having money problems?  Seems like I barely have enough money to keep up, let alone get some of the nicer stuff.

The fights scale to your lvl, so you can't really be too high or too low.

Some suggestions would be, try to draw some of them out of the room and take them on. A handy thing to do when your fighting both mages and melee is to let the melee run thru a door and close it behind them so the mages can't cast on you. Also try spreading out so your entire team doesn't get hit by every fireball. Controling them with any sort of stun or ice attack helps too.

The mages don't have all that much in the way of health. If you have a mage that can fireball them before they hit you it helps. Once you get a few of the mages dead, the fight becomes a whole lot easier.

Oh, and the goat blood is given to you when you start the quest, just need to find all the doors. It should appear in the quest items tab in the inventory. You have to click the door to use the blood.

pull them out of the room and wait for them to come to u.

You can then ambush them.

Concentrate your fire on one npc at a time, unless you are CCing them.

Yea, I had a problem with this too. There was that room just before the final boss fight for the quest, where there was 3 blood mages and a bunch of other NPC's, and every time I tried it, they would just decimate me.

Then I took my time, I kept my party in the middle room and started on the sides and just pulled 3 at a time, hoping they would go through that door and not through the middle door. It took a while and some real AI manipulating, but I finally got passed it and just barely finished off the final boss with just Morrigan and Allistair alive, loved the quest either way!

Yeha, I can manage to kill the two warriors, but the mages are just decimating me. I even pulled them into the other room and shut the door, but the mages follow and fireball and chain lightening me to death. I don't know what to do.

Also, How do I get out of Denerim?  I really need to rest in camp.

Have Morrigan lead. When those blood mages see her attire causes them a mass stun, glamour, will check. They mages see, they don't even let them into Pearls, so she is the closest they ever get to seeing boobies.

But to answer your question:

I had good luck with good old sleep spell, it is an area effect. Have your trusty Hunter use critical long range shots. Hit them with blizzard and a room of dead mages you'll soon have. For the melee, taunt and threaten, then shield wall, all the melee will be beating on them while you take the mages down, then its mop up time.

. Hardest part is getting your groups tactics set up so they do not behave like crazed Alliance players in Wintergrasp that run right into large groups of Hordes manning a wall with five people per position.

. I had to make Lelanni a ranged hunter in tactics to keep the group alive, same with Alistair, put him on defensive and you must make sure you add a line in every tactic per character to drink a darn healing potion, mana potion below a certain percent. I have had inventories stacked high with a range of potions and they were not using them until I did. The healer/mage in your group is usually very busy and doesn't fire that heal off in time on auto pilot. Use the pause key alot after each round and you can win most fights without ever reloading.
