Take it for what it's worth and feel free to comment or add to it
Shepard needs an army, a fleet and a whole lot of support. Anyone can guess that..
-How about recruiting crew that will support Normandyfleet function or performance.
exemple: Gunnery chief on the citadel showing you how Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest SOB in sapce at weapon station.
They have nothing to do on your missions on the ground of course they only serve on ships.
- With so many people wanting you dead the sheer size of Reapers, Mercs organisations etc it seem hardly possible that Shepard could pull off big missions without some help how nice would it be to have more that 1 squad on the ground and work them separatly. It would:
1- Help diversify storyline by changing Squad 2 leader and seeing different opinions from then thus enhencing playability
2- Different squad makeup make for a need to get more versatile teams to make for differnet objectives.
3- Paying a different character from time to time (Shep's great but it'd nice to feel how the others plays out streghts and weaknesses alike)
4- How many squadmates are we going to have available if the ones from ME1 come back we need to find a plan on how to use them all.
-Pirates! defending any ship from boarding parties wether it's the Normandy or not
-Ship to ship combat: How about playing just how great the Normandy really is !
-With the addition of support crew, it'd be a nice thing to see a customizable fighter\\\\interceptor squadron and get to recruit and play its pilots i n space warfare (more pilots than you could get in just 1 playthough anyone ?) I was a sucker of Starwars Battlefront 2 space battles and to take out tactical fighters to cripple a ship and then send a boarding party once all the fighters are taken care of so Shep can make a profit out of this "random encounter" in sapce.

I'm sorry I did not have anything to say about relationship I only wanted to share on adding to what is so far one of the greatest gaming experience i ever enjoyed.
