Oooh, dirty.
Epic space battle above Earth.
Epic ground battle as well. You get a hint of it on Eden Prime, but there's no real large-scale ground conflict in ME yet. I want to see like Soldiers shooting down husks and whatever other main-enemy in ME3, with tanks, air and artillery support. Basically something the scale of the CoD Modern Warfare games, but in ME.

Maybe a montage set to some music, like how they ended seasons of The Wire. Hell, I'd even take static epilogue screens like they did in DAO. I wouldn't prefer it be done like that, but it's better than nothing at all. It'd be a shame to chuck the human connection they've worked so hard to build.

Agreed. A major ground battle where you get to take at least half your squad with you...unless it is the final mission, then everyone comes with and it is done like the ending of ME2. I loved having to make decisions during a mission. Truly gave us the feeling that we held all their lives in our hands.

1. Earth
2. Admiral Hackett
3. TIM
4. Billy, the Purgatory fugitive.
5. Shadow Broker
Also, you fight bad guys from every race in the galaxy except Quarians. Why is that? Of all the side quests in the game, there is only one where you can screw over a Quarian (Ken in Omega station). I don't like a race being untouchable like that. In ME3 I would like to school some Quarians in direct combat.

2. Squad banter on the level of DA:O
3. More focus on the "A" story (i.e. main plot) than the "B" story (i.e. squad recruitment/side missions)

-possibly a renegade interrupt with the council were you can gun down or atleast scare the **** out of the council.
-resolution of lingering conflicts (geth/quarian & krogan/genophage, seriously with all the build up in ME2 these two better have their own "quest" and accompanying choices)
-Larger areas to explore
-squad interactions/banter
-and finally a satisfying ending that ties up the loose and dosent fall into too many cliches

Quarians and geth make peace
Concluding the genophage somehow, not necessarily curing it but wrapping up that arc of the story
Each squad member having a detailed epilogue
But most importantly I want to know what is up with these "Reapers." What are they exactly? Do they have a plan? Are they a unified force or perhaps a collective of individuals secretly acting against each other? What are their tech capabilities and so forth?

Also, more of each place. What we have been able to see of Omega/Illium/Citadel so far is amazing, but it would be nice to walk around in these places and go wherever you want- not where its just relevant to a mission.
A more coherent game- not just a bunch of ~half-hour missions that you will forget an hour later, more of the kind of Feros/Noveria stuff that stays with you.

I would like an actual Paragon path for Shepard, not the abortion of principle's that is the ME2 Shepard. When working with mass murdering terrorist's is the most good you can be something is wrong, at least when taken in context of what happened in ME.
Not sure if it was mentioned, but for my personal vanity, a few of the nice hair styles that are available to NPC's but not available to Shepard in ME2.

A conversation that consists of more than three sentences with Garrus regardless of your romantic interest in him. Why why why couldn't we talk more. It's not fair.
Side quests that don't suck.
The Citadel not being a few levels of boring, I want back out onto the Praesidium. And lastly a shop run by a Hanar...
