If i am playing a campain using v 1.0 and I update to 1.2 can I continue my campain?

campaigns? are you talking about the "other campaigns" at the title menu? I don't even know what that is for.
If you meant campaign as in storyline, yes you continue where you left off.

I've seen some "in-progress" and "proposed" community campaigns but no, I've never seen a finished one.
