Womens figure skating was good, the canadians performance was great considering the situation she's in.

Watching Hockey SVK vs. NOR right now. Nasty incident but otherwise exciting.

He got an elbow on the head, then basically stumbled, lost the helmet and hit the ice with his head.

i can't believe i'm saying this, but i loved to see the curling. It's a great game once you understand it, like chess ^_^

Also i'm watching the ladie's ski jump competition. The competition is being held in the middle of a heavy mist. The images are almost magical! I recomend watching now, live ^_^

I really enjoy watching the Olympics. I had all that I could handle, being home sick the last couple of days. I got the see Clara Hughes take the Bronze in ladies' long-track 5000m speed skating, Canada whoop Russia in men's hockey, and Canada with Gold and Silver in women's 2-man bobsleigh.

Also, watching Moir/Virtue win Gold was simply magical. they had such a beautiful performance. I dunno if any other networks caught it, but when they announced the result, Tessa Virtue didn't hear it and asked Scott Moir, who said they got second place. I'm sure he got a whole lot of punching after that. :)

i'll admit... at first when i saw her sleigh turn over, i was cringing. and then when i saw the replay showing her sliding down the track at a different angle, i thought "that looks quite fun, actually."

the main problem is that sliding on the ice at 120Km/h (75mph) can cause severe burning. (as crazy as it seems) >.<

That was just amazing, wasn't it? I mean, the US and Russian medal winners were excellent, but Virtue and Moir seemed like they shared one mind, the way they skated...

I think they *did* get the second-highest score on the final program.  Had a big lead before that, though.

Um,.. no. They got like five points higher than their nearest competitor (the US team) on the final program...

Watching curling. I enjoy shooting pool, and this reminds me a lot of that, as far as "leave taking" and angles is concerned. Plysics a tad different. I ended up reading up on the sport so I knew how the scoring and all the terminology went. It's a cool sport and man..it's old! The scots brought it to life in the 15th century.

The ladies figure skating for the gold, that last set of final skaters....wow. All I can say is wow! Even the commentators just got quiet and watched. I think they were so choked up after a few of them they couldn't talk at all.

I learned to love curling, you really need to use your brain in this one. ^_^

Right now i'm watching men's hockey. USA vs Finland. Damn, those americans are GOOD!

At the same time they are showing the men's biathlon in other channel. I don't know how they can shoot accurately during a blizzard, but they manage. :D
