It's so weird, the only mod I use is another texture for my characters face, that shouldn't effect things like looking at the cockpit from the Glaxy Map. I have 8 GB ram, Phenom II X4 @ 3,4 ghz and a 5850 1 GB vram, so the texture in itself shouldn't clog up the system. There is really only one explenation, TexMod is really badly written.
Too bad, the new face for my character looks really good, and just running the game without TexMod and continuing from my current saves leaves my character without eyebrows, So the only option, besides playing the game with a retarded looking shepard, is to start over and use the same face but with vanilla textures and eyebrows.
It's a good thing I didn't come so far on this playthrough before I figured out TexMod was screwing me. ^^

If only Bioware didn't screw us Mass Effect fans over by not releasing an editor. I know the Unreal engine (damn that engine) isn't very modifiable, but DA got one! And even if DA is more non-linear, I don't care! I want to play with my resined Terminus armor I spent hours on and I want to play with it WITHOUT significant lag. Curse the heavens!
